The Great Urban Awakening: Inner Cities' Political Liberation Is Directly Tied to Its Spiritual Renewal

Before you liberate Black America politically from the stronghold of the Socialist-Democrats and Tyrannical Marxists to the liberty and freedom of the Conservative Movement, you must first evangelize Black America with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in order to free them from the binds of liberation theology.  It is not merely a mission of convincing people to vote for President Donald Trump because more people are working and making more money.  Many a modern Black American has only heard the hatred and bitterness of the false religion of Marxism rather than the salvation of the Faith of Jesus the Messiah.  The Marxists identified the weapon of race as the best tool to infiltrate America's cultural institutions--Political, Family, Religious, Economic, and Educational.  This achievement of convincing, coercing, and convicting the most conservative people in America to forsake an individual pursuit of Jesus Christ rather affirming a collective resistance to the doctrine of salvation is that of the vile agenda of the Cultural Marxists.

The cultural revolutionaries needed a silent, unarmed overthrow of both the Constitution that protects and affirms the Christian way of life but to also bring division among the races that worship the greatest source of liberation in world history.  By destroying the individuals' identity with the One True God that loves their very soul, the Marxists understood how best to corrupt the Believer: Infect the Pulpits and the Universities.  While teachers required degrees of higher learning as did lawyers and doctors, the role of Pastor was once decided by the Believers' reliance on the Holy Spirit choosing a man of character to Biblically lead his "neighbors" by Scriptural interpretation to do God's Will within the Earth.  He did not need a college, university, or seminary degree.  However, as Marxists rose to power and increased their influence, the dependence on the Holy Spirit of such a valuable choice seemed increasingly unwise.  These new, better-educated Men of Faith needed proofs of higher learning in order to preach the Gospel and to be accepted with prominence within "the community".   Now, Pastors and teachers shared one venue of recognition and approval by which the Marxists could directly infect the major learning centers of Urban America: the University.

The term infection is an appropriate one.  It can be defined as "an infectious agent or material contaminated with an infectious agent" and "the act or result of corrupting someone's morals, character, etc."  Marxism, which is completely incompatible with Christianity, can now peaceably corrupt the Body of Christ and its tenets enwrapped in the good intentions and false interpretative eisegesis professed from the office and power of the Pulpit. As the Teacher corrupted the minds for six days of the week, the Pastor, on the seventh day, corrupted the soul by inserting political propaganda and academic rhetoric in what they taught.  Collectively, they reaffirmed their assertions as truth by referring to philosophers and academicians like James Cone, the chief architect of black liberation theology, and Cyril Valentine Briggs and W. E. B. DuBois rather than referencing the very Scriptures themselves.

The choice of Teachers and Pastors?  Why?

The most adored, respected, and revered authoritarians in the Inner City are Pastors and Teachers.  Neither would lie to you.  Right?!  If you have an Urban American wife then, how often have you heard, "Pastor said...?"  As an Urban American child, how often did you hear, "That teacher would not lie on you!"?  The Messengers of Truth possessed absolute power, influence, and access.  They were incorruptible diviners of the Word of God until the day that they helped eliminate the Holy Bible and prayer from their guarded institutions of learning.  Denying God's influence on the Urban American gave room for a breakdown in the cultural institutions that were supported by the individual's commitment to Christ.  From the end of the Civil War, there were strengthenings within Urban American Political, Family, Religious, Economic, and Educational institutions, in spite of the segregationist pursuits by those of the Left.  These strengthenings allowed Urban Americans to overcome the limits of Jim Crow governance and radical domestic terrorism from the Left.  From the early 1900s when there were few publicly announced Marxists in the Urban community, until the 1970s, the Leftist Radicals were committed to infiltrating and corrupting the cultural institutions that kept conservative Urban Americans tied to the principles of Christianity and allegiance to the Republican Party.

Ellis Washington, in The Negro Project and Margaret Sanger’s Proto-Nazism, writes:

"Why didn’t any of these credentialed, Ivy-League educated, celebrated Black leaders have the vision to inform their Black followers of [the] Margaret Sanger’s Planned Parenthood’s Modern Holocaust against Black Children?

The short answer is because their White, racist, Progressive-Socialist Slavemasters of the Democrat-Socialist Party have for over 100 years – since President Woodrow Wilson, FDR, JFK, LBJ made a Faustian deal with other so-called “Black leaders” beginning with Harvard-educated Dr. W.E.B. Du Bois, but also including untold millions, tens of millions of pastors (and their Black Christian congregations), professors, teachers, federal/state workers, Union members, Black businesses, doctors, lawyers, Black media, Black sports/entertainment figures, etc. which goes something like this – We (the White power structure of the Democrat Socialist Party) will allow you to have access to education, career, power, notoriety, and wealth if you promise to do these two things: 1) Give your undying allegiance to the Democrat Socialist Party and their Holocaust agenda – especially support of abortion on demand; 2) Express hatred of everything the Republican Party does to help Black America and use your power to fight against Conservatives on every front."

For those on the Right that does not understand why your accolades of President Trump's accomplishments are not penetrating the hearts and minds of Urban Americans, you must sincerely comprehend the resistance to your purist messaging.  Here are a few accomplishments that are corrupted by Leftist Media daily:

(1) U.S. Unemployment Rate Falls to 50-Year Low; Trump Economy adding over 6.4 million jobs
(2) African-American Unemployment Rate Hits New All-Time Lows
(3) Trump signs bill restoring funding for Historically Black Colleges and Universities
(4) Black Support for Trump DOUBLES to 29 percent
(5) ICE arrests 364 criminal aliens and immigration violators in enforcement surge
(6) Trump Signs Order Calling for Work Requirements for Welfare Programs
(7) Trump Declares Jerusalem the Capital of Israel
(8) U.S. home sales hit 11-year high
(9) Roaring: Economic Optimism Index hits 13-year high, credit to tax cuts
(10) Youth Unemployment Hits 52 Year Low

These are a few of the over 300 accomplishments achieved after three years in office by President Trump that directly impact Urban Americans.  Yet, in spite of his successes even with rabid Democrat-Socialist pursuit of impeachments and other retaliation for his electoral victory, the Left seemingly has confounded Urban Americans to believe that Trump is the greatest threat to freedom and liberty since the Revolutionary War.  Do not be disheartened.  Your rational arguments will always be repelled by those corrupted to believe irrationality is the norm.  On the Left, there is a desire to enslave, not embrace, the people of God into accepting a lifestyle of oppression that is directly opposed to the liberty and freedom found in the message of Christ Jesus.  It is here that 100 years of infected cultural messaging has trained the Urban Americans not to critically think but to only emotionally accept.  What is real is not true.  What I feel I feel is real.  Raynard "Teddy Bear" Jackson often refers to this as "The Doobie Brothers Theorum":

But what a fool believes, he sees
No wise man has the power to reason away
What seems to be
Is always better than nothing
Than nothing at all

I believe that Michael McDonald would be so proud.

You may be wondering in silence or aloud, "If my Pastor or Rabbi is opposed to believing in God then, how can he or she hold such titles?"  Let us reason the irrational in this order.  What you can reason away allows you to fit within the gray areas of what you will accept from others while you forcefully preach what you believe, intending to convert those that you serve.  Faith becomes religion which soon becomes consciousness.  Gently, you're guided from the One True God to the socially acceptable standard god.  Eventually, either all gods are equal and socially just or that there is no justifiable reason to believe that there is a difference between Faith and atheism.  The Cultural Marxist objective is not religious tolerance but the abolition of religion.  Karl Marx wrote in 1844:

"Religious suffering is, at one and the same time, the expression of real suffering and a protest against real suffering. Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people.

The abolition of religion as the illusory happiness of the people is the demand for their real happiness. To call on them to give up their illusions about their condition is to call on them to give up a condition that requires illusions."

Literally, the Marxist believes that if you could have your needs--social and material--satisfied then, you would have no need for a belief in God.  Polish socialist Rosa Luxemburg, writing in the early twentieth century:

"[The socialist movement] in no way fights against religious beliefs. On the contrary, it demands complete freedom of conscience for every individual and the widest possible toleration for every faith and every opinion. But, from the moment when the priests use the pulpit as a means of political struggle against the working classes, the workers must fight against the enemies of their rights and their liberation. For he who defends the exploiters and who helps to prolong this present regime of misery, he is the mortal enemy of the proletariat, whether he be in a cassock or in the uniform of the police."

Faith is the cause, the movement, and the belief in Marx.  There is no other god before Marx and none others will be tolerated.  This jealousy is expressed in the Marxist ritual of Kwanzaa.  The ritual uses the term Imani (Faith) encouraging adherents "To believe with all our hearts in our people, our parents, our teachers, our leaders, and the righteousness and victory of our struggle".  Notice the absence of the One True God from the list to believe.  Certainly sounds like the Marxists want your entire focus on the Scriptures.  During the early years of Kwanzaa, Maulana Ndabezitha Karenga, previously known as Ron Karenga, said it was meant to be an alternative to Christmas. He believed Jesus was "psychotic" and Christianity was a "White" religion that Black people should shun.  As Kwanzaa gained mainstream adherence and capital investments ("money"), Karenga altered his position so practicing Christians would not be alienated. He encouraged idolatry by then stating in the 1997 Kwanzaa: A Celebration of Family, Community, and Culture, "Kwanzaa was not created to give people an alternative to their own religion or religious holiday."  A lie about its origination or a politically correct way of helping Christians live out the lie.  Race Matters.  Marx Matters.  That is all.  There is no room for Jesus Christ at the Marxist table.  Yet, Pastors and Teachers have convinced, coerced, and convicted "Christians" to believe that each can co-exist.

Urban America is a Marxist stronghold.  It is a defenced city like the one that the Hebrews referred to as ma`owz mibtsar in Daniel 11:39.  In Chapter 11 of Daniel, the Prophet receives the revelation from the angel Gabriel who keeps his promise to "show him what should befal his people in the latter days,' according to that which was "written in the scriptures of truth'.  Gabriel advised of the rise of Antiochus Epiphanes, whose name meant "God Manifest", and the evil that he should do to the Jewish nation and religion, and his contempt of all religion. And yea, all of it came to pass.  Antiochus Epiphanes committed many a vile act towards the Jews.  When he squashed a Jewish revolt, he was stymied as to what to do to keep the Jews from being radicalized and trying to again rebel.  His answer?  He put Hellenized Jews, who combined religious tradition with elements of Greek culture, in charge of the city of Jerusalem.  Antiochus Epiphanes, in order to secure his power base and expand his empire, chose Jews that were willing to forsake their core beliefs and their brethren that they considered zealots.

Marxists have performed this strategy in Urban America for over 100 years, radicalizing persons of color and leaving them to infect and destroy their cultural institutions.  When the enslavement strategy is identified, the radicals point to enemies within and without.  From within, the radicals are victims of "Uncle Toms" or blacks trying to act white and be free.  These betrayers are people of color who are "acting white".  In the United States, acting white is a pejorative term, usually applied to African Americans, which refers to a person's perceived betrayal of their culture by assuming the social expectations of white society.  Success in Faith and education  (depending on one's cultural background) can be seen as a form of "selling out" by being disloyal to one's culture.  From without,  the radicals are victims of white supremacists that are oppressing the race.  Most of the oppressors are foreign federal officials that have little to do with local taxing and political policies that persist in economic failure and police officials that enforce the law against those that terrorize neighborhoods and are protected with political support.  The Media continues its propaganda initiatives to maintain the image of people of color as victims nonetheless and project Republicans and Conservatives are their greatest threat.  The Marxist must persist in the lie and keep the lie alive.  It is the only way that the Constitution can be overthrown and the good people forced to accept the success of tyranny.

Marxism is as anti-Semitic as it is anti-Christian.  The abolition of religion is its pursuit and by any means necessary.  Yet, many Urban American Pastors prevail upon the masses a faith in Marxism more than the Faith in the Living God.  Many in our culture have made the terms--faith and religion--synonymous yet, they are as distinct as they are universal. Faith is from the Latin fides meaning "trust, faith, confidence, reliance, credence, belief".  Religion is directly from Latin religionem (nominative religio) "respect for what is sacred, reverence for the gods; conscientiousness, sense of right, moral obligation; fear of the gods; divine service, religious observance; a religion, a faith, a mode of worship, cult; sanctity, holiness".  The differences are stout and essential to know the greatest risks to freedom and liberty about the world.  Why so essential?  There are many seeking to corrupt the reasonings of men through the guise of feelings and good intentions while installing a sacred reveling of the totalitarian philosophies of men.  How shall an evil oppressor be made appealing to a people seeking fairness and acceptance?  The ideology must be granted the characteristics of a Godly assurance.  The Marxist must make its ideology "the belief in and reverence for a supernatural power or powers, regarded as creating and governing the universe".  Karl Marx must become Our Lord and Savior.

"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."
Hebrews 12:2

With these words, God's inspired author established that the belief in Jesus Christ is not a religion but the Faith.  Christianity is not a religion built with human hands but the Faith given to the world by the Living God.  Urban America needs a spiritual awakening and liberation from Marxism to Christianity.  Without a successful evangelistic effort, political liberation will never follow.  The liberty and freedom of not only a Nation but its people are at greatest risk. Our Inner Cities must know that Faith in the Almighty God is never the same as faith in Marxism.

Election 2020's War Is Against Communism Not Socialism in the United States

Give me your four-year-olds, and in a generation, I will build a socialist state.
Vladimir Lenin

President Donald John Trump warned about socialism during his State of the Union address.  Trump boldly pronounced, "Here in the United States, we are alarmed by the new calls to adopt socialism in our country.  America was founded on liberty and independence and not government coercion, domination, and control.  We are born free and we will stay free.  Tonight, we renew our resolve that America will never be a socialist country".  We were moved emotionally by the patriotic declarations of our Commander-In-Chief.  However, for many a conservative like myself, we believe that such an identification of the cultural threat is amiss.  If we are to be at war in the Middle East or on poverty then, we must accurately identify our enemy, their weaponry, and the overall risks that our troops will face in protecting our Nation,  Victory is unachievable without a prudent and proper assessment.

The United States lost the War against Socialism on March 23, 2010, when then-President Barack Hussein Obama signed into law the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, often shortened to the Affordable Care Act (ACA), nicknamed Obamacare.  The socialist ambition of former President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's New Deal had finally been accomplished.  The Holy Grail of socializing medicine and controlling the very lives of every American was celebrated throughout the land by Marxists--Democrats, Socialists, and Communists, alike.  Former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel understood what President Roosevelt understood about the economic upheaval in the land, "You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before."  President Roosevelt, under the cover of darkness--the Great Depression--to convince the American populous to exchange their natural rights as protected under the US Constitution for the assurance that the US government would economically secure and guarantee the financial well-being of every citizen.

Roosevelt argued that the "political rights" guaranteed by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights had "proved inadequate to assure us equality in the pursuit of happiness".  The Democrat-Socialist Roosevelt convinced Americans that prosperity and equality of outcomes would be best guaranteed by federal regulatory control over and taxpayer funding of government programming to ensure:

Employment (right to work), food, clothing, and leisure with enough income to support them
Farmers' rights to a fair income
Freedom from unfair competition and monopolies
Housing
Medical care
Social security
Education

As with Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, rather than focusing on the individual bubbles of financial disruptions within the economy as Ludwig von Mises would advise, it was easier to disown one of the foremost tenets of freedom--capitalism--to instill the Marxists' great covetous desires for others' profit, property and possessions into our constitutional system..

While Roosevelt intensely fought to control the lives of Americans, he could never achieve the Holy Grail of mandating every American into complete acceptance of the institutional installation of Marxism throughout every branch of governance. Only medical care could achieve this end.  Opposition from doctors, labor, insurance companies and businesses contributed to the failure of Marxists achieving compulsory national health insurance.  Roosevelt's first failure in 1935 came as his Committee on Economic Security (CES) feared that including nationalized health insurance in its Social Security legislation would threaten its passage. It was excluded.  His second attempt at nationalized medicine--the Wagner Bill, National Health Act of 1939--was stopped by Congress, thanks to the election of conservative legislators   In three decades, it would be President Lyndon Baines Johnson that would bring about nationalized medical insurance through Medicare and Medicaid.  However, those national programs only use taxpayer's monies to reach certain eligible populations.

A constitutionally protected legal measure that would achieve by mandate control of the people was the almighty endeavor of the Leftists.

Saul Alinsky, How To Create A Social State,  advised that there were eight (8) levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a social state.  The first is the most important.

 (1) Healthcare – Control healthcare and you control the people

 (2) Poverty – Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.

 (3) Debt – Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.

 (4) Gun Control – Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.

 (5) Welfare – Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income)

 (6) Education – Take control of what people read and listen to – take control of what children learn in school.

 (7) Religion – Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools

 (8) Class Warfare – Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.

The Democrat-Socialists, as authoritarians, pursued absolute control of Americans.

There was a final death knelt required.  Congress enacted the law.  The President signed it into law.  It would have to be determined constitutional.  That role was left to our Article Three (3) US Constitution institution--the US Supreme Court.  On June 28, 2012, the U.S. Supreme Court issued its decision in the case challenging the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The Court upheld the constitutionality of the ACA’s individual mandate, which required most people to maintain a minimum level of health insurance coverage beginning in 2014.  Obamacare's most major provisions were phased in by January 2014.  The remaining provisions will be phased in by 2020.  The penalty enforcing the individual mandate was eliminated starting in 2019.  On December 20, 2017, President Trump signed into law the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, which zeroed out the federal tax penalty for violating the individual mandate. In order to pass the U.S. Senate under the chambers reconciliation rules with only 50 votes, the requirement itself remains in effect.  The individual mandate is still on the books awaiting the day that the Chamber has 51 Democrat-Socialists to reinforce it.  The Affordable Care Act (ACA), Obamacare, completely transformed the United States into a socialist nation subsidized by a regulated marketplace.

Socialism is the Gateway Drug towards Communism.  Communism and socialism are referred to as two left-wing schools of economic thought that are equally opposed to capitalism.  The Left hopes to confound "normal" Americans by saying that one must focus on the theory rather than on the practice of each.  In the disguise of intellectual honesty, Leftists rarely wish that you call them either a socialist or communist but, want you to know that when the revolution comes that they will be the first to disarm the public and install the new government by coup.  Let's be very frank, communists are straight, hard-core revolutionaries and socialists are chameleons seeking the most sinister cover to rest control and rule rather than govern.  The Pseudo-Intellectuals of the Left wish to declare your ignorance because you can not give a singular definition.  However, like the difference between pornography and art,  I know each when I see them.

Socialists can be pro- or anti-free markets. It is the regulated or free exchange of commerce that provides monetary support through confiscation and taxation needed to support the endeavors of Marxist governance.  Socialists may consider their ultimate goal to be "the coming revolution" and the abolition of social classes, inequities of wealth distribution, and genders, or they may seek more "reasonable" efforts like universal healthcare, a universal pension scheme, and gun control.  There are many socialist policies like Social Security, free public education, and the eight-hour workday that are enacted and enforced within the capitalist United States.

In "Democratic socialism isn't just stupid, it conflicts with the Constitution", Jenna Ellis wrote, "Democratic socialism is inherently in conflict with the Declaration of Independence, and the founding of America on the Judeo-Christian ethic recognizing that one of the self-evident truths of reality is that we are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights, and among these are life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. This includes the fundamental right of humans to self-determine and pursues family, business enterprise, church, and God."

Communism, as an ideology, is as anti-market capitalism and anti-elective democracy as one could possibly imagine.  As a system of governance, communism tends to a one-party state that bans political dissent like governments found in most of America's urban centers.  The brilliance of President Trump, in his free-trade negotiations with China, is that he recognizes that the Communist nation is more committed to the theory than they are to the practice.  The Communist Nation's commitment to market capitalism invites discussions that require it to change its political practices to its citizenry and economic and investment practices to foreign firms.  Next to Christianity, capitalism is one of the greatest liberating forces of peoples and nations in world history.

While we pursue the liberation of the People's Republic from Hong Kong to Beijing, in spite of the National Basketball Association's protestations, we must admit two things going into Election 2020.  With the help of a demure Republican Party that is completely unrecognizable by the "Radicals" of 1860 GOP, the United States has lost the War on Socialism.  Secondly, we have been so blinded by the politically correct cry for bipartisanship that we have failed to recognize the greatest threat to America: The Encroaching Rise of Cultural Communism.  Think I'm wearing a tin-foil Adam Schiff cap then, I ask that you inspect the Forty-Five (45) Communist Goals as Read Into the Congressional Record on January 10, 1963.  The Honorable Albert Sydney Herlong Jr., a former Democrat Party Representative from Florida and a signatory to the 1956 Southern Manifesto that opposed the desegregation of public schools ordered by the Supreme Court in Brown v. Board of Education, stood before the House and read the writings of W. Cleon Skousen from the book "The Naked Communist".  As we peruse a few warnings, ask yourself how many of these have to pass.

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.
6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.
7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.
15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
18. Gain control of all student newspapers.
19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.
20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions.
21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”
23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”
24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.
25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.
26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy, and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”
27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.”
28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”
32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture–education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

Just a few for consideration.  As you look at that abbreviated list, ask yourself how many of these have come to pass.

People often write of problems without presenting solutions.  The first is to the President of the United States.  Be bold enough to admit that we have lost the War on Socialism but we are not so far along that we can not strike forth in victory.  As FDR was thwarted in the late 1930s, Americans must follow the pathway to liberation by voting in the most conservative and strict constructionists that they can find to represent them in their voting districts.  Yes, real conservatives must be elected to office to do two principal things: Overturn ObamaCare Completely and Free the Churches from the 501(c)3 regulation.  Americans must be free of governmental tyranny and liberated from state-churches.  The GOP must be galvanized to read and understand its history and not submit itself to the rewrites of American history by the Left.  While there is a political party that covers-up the quid pro quo corruption of their leading Presidential candidate, they, captured by the socialists and communists, accuse the current President of the United States of high crimes and misdemeanors of a phone call to a Ukrainian President.  The GOP must voraciously engage urban centers with a trifold purpose: illuminate, instigate, and liberate.  If Muslims can be radicalized by austere religious scholars and college students radicalized by communists and socialists professors then, urban America can be freed from the reigns of totalitarianism.  It will take the radicalization of the GOP.  Heck, Frederick Douglass and former President Abraham Lincoln would be proud.

Finally, can this change take place?  Well, the man that warned America of the threat of communism made a change late in his life.  "Although a Democrat throughout his political career, Herlong supported Richard Nixon's presidential campaign in 1968.  Herlong left Congress in 1969 but served several years on the Securities and Exchange Commission under Nixon, who nominated him for the appointment.  In 1985, he switched to the Republican party because of its increasing influence in Central Florida and his desire to vote in Republican primaries."  President Ronald Reagan in an address before the British House of Commons said:  "What I am describing now is a plan and hope for the long term — the march of freedom and democracy which will leave Marxism-Leninism on the ash heap of history as it has left other tyrannies which stifle the freedom and muzzle the self-expression of the people."  Change is a process.  America must continue the process of Making America Great Again.  It begins with an illuminated citizen that is instigated to save our nation from the socialists and communists and are liberated to live out the dreams and ambitions of a formerly oppressed people that sought the best means of liberty and freedom.

It's Not You, It's Me: A Letter to Black, Negro, Colored, African-American, Persons of Color from the Socialists-Democrats of America

Dear Faithful One:

I hope that the kisses that I placed in this letter are received fully in your heart and soul.  You have made me stronger than any other has.  I want you to know that I love you and always will.  You have been faithful to me in the rain and the sunshine.  When I was against you, you were for me.  When I swerved from you, you stood by me.  When you offered me your greatest treasure and I cast it away, you, with tears in your eyes, held onto my promises of a better day.  Your love is so strong.

I hope and pray that you have enjoyed the many times that we have shared.  Others envy what we have.  They criticize.  They heckle.  They are constantly beefing.  It gets on my last nerves.  Yet, you never stray.  You lay beside me when I come home at 5 in the morning and you never gripe.  You may speak out every once in a while but, in public, you never put me down.  My bacon be crisp, my eggs perfectly scrambled, and my orange juice freshly squeezed.  My clothes perfectly laundered and shirts exceptionally starched--not too crisp and not too wispy.  Just the way I like it.  I know my folks never liked you and still hesitate to come around.  I know that you "march" around the house saying that you don't like them.  You have to know that they appreciate you more than you will ever know.  At least, what you do for me.  You keep the house strong when everyone else can see how weak it is.  You never let their truth infect our lie.

Faithful One, you are my ride and/or die!  I know from you that you will never leave me.  Yeah, sometimes, you make me crazy.  You ask me to do stuff for you when my friends need it more. You gotta remember that I am just a Giver.  I'm a Businessman.  I gotta take care of the Streets because the Streets take care of me.  Yeah, you have made me mad and I have had to correct you.  The good thing is that we did that privately, in our own abode.  I did not mean to hurt you but, we both know that you had it coming.  I had to handle my business.  You made me mad.  The doctor that I sent you to said that you will be fine.  As long as you stay inside and wear shades when you go out then, you will be just fine.  Faithful One, you know that I have to treat you this way because you need to be strengthened.  You gotta learn to love me when the rain falls hard against your face.  You have learned to mask the tears and blame it on the rain.  You are just so strong.  You drive me crazy but I know that you love me.

Faithful One, you have been so good to me. I know that when you could leave, you choose to stay.  You don't even think about going anywhere else.  Even, if you did then, where would you goYou know nobody else wants your imperfect nature.  No one else could care for you the way that I have cared for you.  You don't even have to think about it because there is none to compare me.  If you need a re-think then, I will refresh your mind.  Who wants you but, me?  I took you from the fields that my folks had you slaving in day and night.  I took you from the problems of owning stuff in the backcountry to living on my dime in the Big CityDid I not treat you better here than my people treated you from where you came?  My hand is softer than that which struck you from where you came.  I have done you good.  Better than any have!  In spite of your sensitivities, I have stood by you, not for what you have asked but, for what you have needed.  I know what you need and I give it to you as you need.  When it doesn't work, it's not because of me but, it is because you are not prepared or competent enough to handle what I give you when I know that you need it most.  I stand next to you and you do not have to apologize.  I got you and you got me.

As I write these sweet words to you, I want you to know that Faithful One, you give me much pride and joy.  I don't have to worry about you because you are always here for me.  Yes, I have messed up sometimes but, you don't hold it against me.  When I screw up then, you explain that it is because we are victims.  The MAN is against us and always trying to keep us apart.  No matter what happens, I know that you will always be with me.  I am not worried about the future.  My place is set at the table.  Your place is set at my table.  You are my Boo, no matter what.

You know that I love you and always will but...

It's me and it's not you.  I have grown.  I have matured.  I have gotten to a point where I know that you can stand strong and I can stand strong.  Faithful One, we can get to the next level that we have always dreamed of but, it requires that I do some stuff that we have never done before.  Or at least that I have never done before.  I know that you will be with me until the very end because my father said that you would be with me until I die.  Faithful One, just stay with me while I am away from you.

Firstly, Jesus is in my way.  At least the way you make Him out to me, he does not fit our lives.  It's not you, it's me.  I mean you say He is the Creator but, how do I know that?  Do you have proof?  No, but, you keep telling me that what I do opposes Him.  That it hurts Him when I encourage little boys to dress as girls and to dance for me.  That it hurts Him that I recommend an abortion to an impoverished woman.  That God wants me to use my money--our money--to feed the poor rather than taxing the hell out of another person or business to do the same thing.  I don't know what God you serve but, He does not have a worldview.  He is not compassionate to a woman that is trapped into a man's body.  In fact, He has a greater love for a baby trapped in the womb of a confused mother than for one of my LGBTQRSTUVWXYZP friends.  What is this God and who is He?  I'm sorry.  I know that you are crying now but, you have a belief that keeps me from growing with the world.  It's not you.  It's me.

Secondly, I have to replace some of the peeps in your life that have not matured as I have.  I know that this is tough.  It's been running through my mind like the first time I saw you.  On that perfect day that I saw you, I knew that you were all that I needed, wanted, and desired.  I did not want anyone else.  I only wanted you.  I wanted you to be happy with me.  I wanted to be happy with you.  However, there are some that you cling to that just don't fit where I'm going.  They are keeping me from loving you in the right way that you need to be loved.  They keep talking about the way that things once were.  The way that things used to be.  No change, we just keep going along doing the same thing and getting no results.  I have a small list:

Henry Cuellar
William Lacy Clay
Hakeem Jeffries
Nancy Pelosi
Yvette Clarke
Joyce Beatty
Emanuel Cleaver
Anthony Brown

If you loved then, you will let them know that they no longer represent you.  You let them know that I got you.  We will walk together in the right direction.  True justice is that you walk with me and they can walk with us as well.

Faithful One, I am not trying to take them away from you.  I just want to lift them up in the way that I have lifted you up.  You are strong and will come.  They are weak and you must make them strong.  If they follow you then, I can return to you sooner.  Remember, it's me not you.  But, I need you.

This last thing, Faithful One, will challenge us more than anything else.  I want you to know that everyone thinks that you will not stand by me.  They say that you may be jealous.  That you will be so mad out of envy that you will break away from me.  The MAN says that you are weak.  Who can be weak when you sacrifice our inheritance so often for the sake of ending poverty, reducing the stress of needless populations, and making our existence certain and affordable.  You love me, Faithful One.  I must now love another.  It's for our good.  I know that this hurts you.  The MAN will tell you that this is wrong and that it really shows that I don't care.  Don't let their truth maliciously deny our commitment to each other.

You may have received word that I have been entertaining others.  You may have heard that they give me hope and satisfaction like none otherI want you to know that only you have I an eye.  You must know that like those that choose their lover, no matter how they dress or what room they choose to relieve themselves, these same entertained visiting citizens have suffered as you have suffered.  They are Persons of Color as you have a color given to you by your Creator.  They deserve the same rights that we have given you and they deserve the same benefits that once were yours alone.  Is it fair that you have an outcome that is not the same as theirs?  Perish the thought that I am fair only with you and no other.  Your hue did not stop you from joining me.  Why should their ethnicity separate them from the gifts of a Nation to your ancestry?  If you love me and what I have done for you then, let me know and love them.

You are my Beloved, my Faithful One.  How shall I love you alone with favor and hate another with prejudice?  I would never abandon you for my own good.  You must fight the MAN that wishes to convince you the truth.  I shall return with more of those that I entertain for my prosperity and your well-being.  It may seem that they shall have more in a short time than you have ever gotten from me yet, be not so concerned that you forget your devotion to me.  It is this unrivaled alliance that I count upon for my comfort and that you must count upon for yours.  Faithful One, it is me.  It is never you.

Faithful One, tears roll down my face as I write these words to you.  Not because I think that you are weak and will not devote yourself to this cause of love.  O no, I am certain as you were with me that you will always be with me.  This is the insurance that I will carry as I do your picture in my wallet.  I know that you will never tire of my promises, even when I fall short.  That same God that you say Creates, you know that He will forgive me and bring me back into the fold.  When I am with the others, I shall long to be with you.  When you see us together on the street then, cross to the other side and ignore us.  I do this to shelter you from the pain that we share of longing for each other.

Faithful One, you know that I love you and always will but...

It's me and it's not you.

Sincerely,

Your Beloved Friend

The Democrat-Socialist's Plantation Strategy Has Been More Effective than Any Argued Republican Southern Strategy.

The Democrat-Socialist's Plantation Strategy Has Convinced 90% of Blacks, Negroes, Coloreds, African-Americans, or Persons of Color to Align and Vote for the Party that Once Lynched Their Ancestors, Oppressed Them Through Jim Crow, and Preserve Slavery Despite Its Proposed Constitutional End.  Remember, It Was Democrat President Lyndon Baines Johnson that said regarding the Civil Rights Act:

"These Negroes, they're getting pretty uppity these days and that's a problem for us since they've got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we've got to do something about this, we've got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference."

Literally, the Genocidal Acts of Population Control (Abortion), Gun Control, and Identity Politics Have Held the Blacks, Negroes, Coloreds, African-Americans, or Persons of Color Population in the United States in a Perilous Rate of Growth.  It Rose from 10% in 1960 to 13% in 2010. Only a 1.3% Increase Compared to a Voracious Growth in the Hispanic Population.  The Democrat-Socialist's New Political Ally Has Lept from 3% in 1960 to 16% in 2010.  That's a Whopping 533%!  Yes, the Hispanic Population Is the Driving Power Force to the Aspirations of Liberal Whites Maintaining Power in the United States.

Noone Will Tell You This But Here It Is.  As Planned, Black America Has Failed The Democrat-Socialists and Pay Back will be Brutal.

"That's not true, Ken!  My Pastor Says this Election and Its Results Will Be Different!"

Really?  Hmm...

Why Do They Push Support Towards Central and South American Legal Immigrants and Illegal Migrants?  They have been groomed in Marxism's Most Radical and Lethal Forms.  Black Liberation Theological and Inner City Marxist Strategies Failed in Black America.  In Order to Fully Install the Second Bill of Rights and Move to the Third Bill of Human Rights that Best Fits the United Nations' Globalists Movement, the Marxists Need the Willing.  Illegals Are Willing to Exchange Their Freedoms and Liberties, that Are Best Protected Under the First Bill of Rights, for the Economic Assurances of the Second Bill of Rights.  The Price Is Suitable.

When Less Than 90% of the Blacks, Negroes, Coloreds, African-Americans, or Persons of Color Voted for Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2016, The Decision Was Made with the Powers that Be.  Drop the Blacks, Negroes, Coloreds, and African-Americans and Go With the Hispanics.  Disguise It as the "Persons of Color Strategy".  Like a Lemon, Squeeze What We Can Out of the Blacks, Negroes, Coloreds, and African-Americans in Election 2020 and Never Look Back.

The Blacks, Negroes, Coloreds, and African-Americans Population in the United States Is Now Politically Inept, Inefficient, and Unworthy of Any Real Support.

Yet, President Johnson was Right.

Even on the Eve of Its All-Or-Nothing Political, Economic, and Cultural Crap Out, The Blacks, Negroes, Coloreds, and African-Americans Voting Population Forgets LBJ Said, ‘I’ll have those n*ggers voting Democratic for 200 years!"

By the Way, That Is A Target on Police in the Public Enemy Video.  Yes, in 1989!

This Is the Least, Last, and Lost Generation of The Blacks, Negroes, Coloreds, and African-Americans Whose Ancestors Marched on Washington in 1963.  Public Enemy Recognized that the Results of the March Was Minuscule Because Nothing Improved.  However, They Remained Ignorant By Encouraging People to Use A Different Method In the Same Strategy Expecting A Different Result.

Jim Crow Laughs and the Marxists Replace Blacks, Negroes, Coloreds, and African-Americans Voting Population with "Persons of Color".  Checkmate!  The Democrat-Socialist's Plantation Strategy Wins Again.

Victor or Victim? Learning to Say Good-Bye to the Living and the Dead

When I was much, much younger, I could afford the times of jealousy, envy, anxiety, and bitterness that came with loss.  With any subtraction from my life, I had to deal with the sordid war between my feelings and my logic.  My heart would swing wildly in the winds of varied emotions.  I would blame myself and then, others, and then, God, and then, myself.  My mind would show its strength and vigor assuring me that, in the midst of hope and change, it is natural to lose those we love both living and dead.  Despite the foreknowledge of the promises of God including the word of honor that we shall see Him face to face, the balance of my world was often upset because I could not deal earnestly with a negative return on my emotional investment.

Am I a fool or a wise man?  What shall I say of myself if my status has changed and all I have to show for it are banks filled with memories, both good and evil, and a spirit and heart so broken and defiled?  How shall the world judge me?  How shall I judge myself?  In learning to say goodbye to both the living and the dead, it is the power to choose victor-hood or victimhood that is in my hands.

Many young people have lived without the wise counsel of what to do when love or lust wanes between two people.  Young people in a fatherless generation have few wise resources on which to rely.  I seek only in this writing to prepare the hearts, minds, and souls--abandoned by reason and left to the careless whispers of pop culture experts--to seek the power to choose victor-hood over victimhood when learning to love and engaging in relationships.  I pray that my words shall encourage victory in life for those that have little hope and prosper a new generation to love each other as God and, not the world, would have them to do so   A generation, I pray, that will know the fruits of true love.

As a Man of God, I was often challenged with the divine conundrum delivered unto me by fellow believers that if I truly believed in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ then, I should not be so moved in spirit when someone leaves me or is taken from me.  There was a multitude of metaphors assigned to such losses when comfort was sought.  The best comparisons were always driven by the short and long terms of atmospheric quantitative analysis.  No matter the time or type of relationship, the weather was always the best format of explanation.

The meteorologists of my life, when referring to the loss of the living, advised that friendships and loves were most akin to natural climate change.  Such intimate bonds are as variant and steady as are the transitions from winter to spring and from summer to fall.  Like weather is measured from moment to moment, some relationships are often as short-lived.  Some are fervent and devastating as hurricanes or tornadoes.  Others are as benign and tender as the gentle mist of an Appalachian morn or as soft as the breezes ashore Jamaica as the evening rises.  No matter the relationship, like weather, all relationships have expiration dates.  Some are natural and some are artificially induced.  Some are short and others long.  However, you have a choice.  You may enjoy the moments as they lapse or you may stress awaiting the time that it grows moldy and stale as it nears its expiration.

How you choose allows you alone to live in joy or in pain.

The climatologists of my life referred to relationships as the days and nights align themselves in the measure of the calendar.  The collection of climates are known to men and so is the length of quality to each of us.  Some relationships are as the monsoons upon the Brazillian rainforest.  No matter how long they last, these relationships are consistently either wet or dry.  They are either passionate or frigid.  Some relationships are as the oceanic climate of Cape Cod, Massachusetts.  No matter how long or short, there is sufficient rain.  No matter throughout the coldest or warmest moments, each pours into the other meeting every conceivable need--body, mind, soul, and strength.  Some relationships are as the deserts of the Arctic or the Sahara.  The longing and the wanting for fulfillment is incessantly unmet.  Give and take is not an option.  It is an either-or proposition.  The craving for something better and more fulfilling without excessive struggle or incredible adaptation is always afoot.

The choice of quality is yours alone.  How you choose allows you to prosper or languish.

Simply, the only permanent relationship that you may have in your life is your personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  In all of our mortal relationships, in life or death, we must be willing to cherish, persevere, and free.  In cherishing, we must know how to hold those that we love as "dear, treat with tenderness, and show affection".  Each person has something to offer that we savor.  No matter the strengths or weaknesses, we must be willing to spend the time exploring the best in each person.  We must selfishly acknowledge that our time is valuable to us individually.  While we experience each other's weaknesses, we will not invest again in blind faith our time, our wealth, and our skills to those that return us bitter fruits.  In our kind pursuits, we must be willing to know and admit that our time is not so great upon this Earth that we waste it upon those that offer nothing more than the interest to "steal, kill and destroy".

Good love languishes because bad like is given too great an affection.  In giving and receiving love, we must treat with tenderness those we have chosen.  If we are to love someone dearly then, we shall no less expect to be loved dearly.  When this cannot be honestly agreed upon then, we must cherish our time and be willing to renegotiate the terms of our relationships.  Confine not yourself to the morbid satisfaction of grief and sorrow but, live and live more abundantly.

If this is love then, we must be willing to persevere.  When we speak of perseverance, we must be willing "to have and to hold".

Wait a minute, Ken, my significant other and I are just dating, why are you talking marriage?  We are just hanging out!  No harm, no foul!  Right?

We have buried the revelations of "to have and to hold" within our modern romantic thoughts of wedding vows.  How dear it is to see our friends stand before God and man to speak these edicts to their chosen loved ones.  The Black's Law Dictionary Free Online Legal Dictionary 2nd Ed. advises that this phrase is more about the conveyance of property than the expression of adoration.  In Black's Law Dictionary, it is written:

"The words in a conveyance which show the estate intended to be conveyed. Thus, in a conveyance of land in fee-simple, the grant is to “A. and his heirs, to have and to hold be said [land] unto and to the use of the said A., his heirs and assigns forever.” Williams, Real Prop. 108. Strictly speaking, however, the words “to have” denote the estate to be taken, while the words “to hold” signify that it is to be held of some superior lord, {. e., by way of tenure, (q. v.) The former clause is called the “habendum;” the latter, the “tenendum.” Co. Litt. 6o."

Romance is a lovely thing yet, it is seldom completely understood beyond the glory of sultry novels and psychobabble-ridden theatrical performances.  What we hold dearly we must be willing to allow someone greater to hold it.  The possessor's responsibility is to cherish it more greatly than the one from whom he or she received it.  This is the measure by which we are to determine if the relationship is worthy in which we are to persevere.

In life and death, we must deal with the estate.  As defined, an estate is the "lawful right as the owner of an asset or property to hold the legal title/ownership".  In death, we say goodbye when we read the last will and testament of our loved one.  However, in the living, the estate that we hold most dear is our heart, our love.  In this, I do not speak of two persons on a first date at the local movie house.  For those that have promised themselves, each must know that they have some worth to pass on and to uphold.

As with money, the heart shall not be trifled.  As with money, there will be up days and down days.  However, we must pursue without end a greater estate than which we offered each other.  We must not be merely an estate of inanimate things but, a living legacy--"a body of persons on a mission".  We are to be lively stones,  As a couple on a mission then, we must be willing to faithfully "exchange" unto each other strength for weakness and surrender weakness for strength.  A superior lord must be found in order to consider the excellent worth of such an exchange.  To whom we give our love, we must be willing to judge the value of our and their individual walks.  Is this a journey that we can share?  If so, how shall we measure its worth?  In feet?  In yards?  In miles?  How we jointly answer, lends us the pathway to victor-hood or victimhood.

In living, when we read the last will and testament of our daily pursuit of each other, we must be honest with ourselves and those that we call our loved ones.  Honesty is a difficult tool to embrace when we seek only to deceive ourselves and others.  Saying goodbye to the living requires us to regard with honor the very being of the ones that we entered into a relationship.  When the seeds of deceit are planted and then watered by the bitter tears of sorrow, it is very unlikely that any future harvest will bear great joy.  We shall never let our loved ones become our sacrificial lambs.  Victims of false scales, we bury our hearts in unfair and pernicious exchanges.  Tragically, we seeth in anger, jealousy, passionate fervor as another makes light of our hearts.  We die before we say goodbye.

This is not the pathway of most resistance but, of least.  As we die, we utter encouragements to ourselves: "this is not really happening", "maybe if I change a little more then, things will be different", and " I know that this is only a temporary thing".  The living must answer, "shall I persevere?"

The soul spitefully encourages you to go partially clad and ill-armed for the battles of the days to come.  Wearily you say to yourself that a false exchange is still an acceptable one.  Painfully, you say before the new dawn, "This is all that I have and all that I will ever have."

The answer to "shall I persevere" is the most difficult of all, for a battle of logic versus emotions ensues.  In a silent place and away from the world, I suggest that you sit.  This is not a battle for fists and fury but of a sound mind.  It is counter-intuitive warfare.  The sword of a victor must be worn for this warfare.  It will test the very inner strength, not of the one that you believe deceives you but, of who you are.  Either your logic or your emotions shall prevail over you.  If it is your emotions then, you may deceive yourself.  If it is your mind then, you shall regard each of you with honor.

The sword that you shall sheath yourself with is the question, "Shall we be free?"

We all say that we are free.  However, when we are unable to move either to the left or to the right because we fear what we will lose or believe that we can offer anyone anything better, or receive a better opportunity then, how free are we?

Tracing the origins of the word "free" takes us first to the Old English "freo" meaning "exempt from; not in bondage, acting of one's own will",  When in bondage to lust or fantasy, we often burden ourselves with excuses for not saying goodbye.  We fancy only to remember the best of moments or best of seasons.  In an already skewed scale, we further belie ourselves the weights of the bondage set against us by another.  You have denied yourself the sense of reasoning to honor the virtues of the other.  The signs were there but, you ignored them.

1. He or She began purchasing newer clothes or sexy undergarments.  He or she starts wearing a different perfume or fragrance or taking excessive interest in his or her hair, makeup, figure, and overall appearance.  Suddenly, image matters.

2. He or She gets angry or upset about something he or she has never gotten angry with you about before.

3. He or She spends more quality time at the office and less quality time with you.

4. He or She needs more rest or alone time than intimacy within the relationship.

You have known for a while.  Your Spidey senses have been tingling for so long that people sitting next to you on the bus get an unintended body massage.

When the dividend yield on our romantic investment has shrunk dramatically and our capital relationship gains have all been eliminated then, we must be sincere in our "goodbye" evaluation.  Our blinders must be removed.  Our false hopes erased.  Our judgment sharpened.  We must face the facts as truth and not myth or fable.

The return on emotional investment is zilch, nada, or non-existent.  The sword has been drawn.  Shall we be free?  If you can face the rising sun and call it day then, you may sheath your sword.  The challenge to overcome was never for the one that you loved.  The challenge to overcome was for the one that loved.

The greatest deception that one must overcome is the deception of self.  When you can accept the truth in any relationship then, you can fully cherish the one that is loved.  You can persevere when the scales are balanced in the exchange of love and honor the essential distance for each to find the true love that is sought.  When you know that time has elapsed and that life must go on then, while many nights will be filled with tears, you will stand strong and not only accept but, earnestly pursue your destiny.  In learning to say goodbye to both the living and the dead, it is the power to choose victor-hood or victimhood that is in your hands.  You are free of any bondage.

You may say good-bye.

The "Silenced" Crisis: The Disappearance of Small Black Towns and Settlements throughout the United States

The "Silenced" Crisis: The Disappearance of
Small Black Towns and Settlements throughout the United States
Written By Kenneth McClenton / Researched By Bonnie Williams

“The property that we owned was prime property.
Over time, it’s been sold and traded and stolen.”
— Gullah native Alex Brown.

Miss Abigail remembers.

She would run down Dunbar towards Main Street every afternoon during the summer of her teenage years.  Beautiful and athletic, she imagined someday running in the Olympics like Wilma Rudolph.  Abbey imagined once she returned with her Gold Medal that a street in her town would be named after her like the one named after Paul Laurence Dunbar.  In those days, the post office was headquartered in the home of one of the town elders.  He was the most trusted of men and one of the most valued fathers of the town.  He knew all secrets and revealed none.  The Elder Post Man loved everyone and knew each child by name.  She would get an ice pop every afternoon when she arrived at the home where the Old Man would pull his visor over his forehead, turn to the set boxes, and pull out the day's mail.  In moments, her thirst quenched, mail in hand, she sprinted back towards home, past the many beautiful, hand-built houses.  The town was alive and well.  She knew that it always would be.

Time has gone by quickly.  Things have changed.

After high school, most of the young people left the small town founded by Booker T. Washington, Congressman George Henry White, Paul Laurence Dunbar, Harriett Aletha Gibbs, Joseph Vance and many other prominent Black Americans from the early 20th century.  The attractions of Philadelphia, New York, Baltimore, Washington, DC, and Chicago were too great to resist.  After graduating from high school, she decided that the "planned Negro town" of Whitesboro, New Jersey would be her home.  Whitesboro was established in 1902 as a town sited exclusively for African Americans.  The idea came in response to increasing white resistance to black residents in Cape May County, New Jersey.  The African-American Equitable Industrial Association, founded by Reverend J.W. Fishburn and four other members of Cape May City’s AME Zion Church, purchased the land in an effort inspired by the self-help philosophy of Booker T. Washington.  With the help of many investors from the South, most notably the George H. White Land Improvement Company, the Association purchased 2,000 acres of land approximately ten miles north of Cape May City for $14,000.  The first Black community post office was named White, after founder George White, and then, renamed Whitesboro.

Black towns and their landowners have not found the "pursuit of happiness" to be "crystal stairs".  In fact, the Associated Press, in an investigation that included interviews of over 1,000 people and the examination of tens of thousands of public records in county courthouses and state and federal archives, documented 107 land takings in 13 Southern and border states.  In those cases alone, 406 black landowners lost more than 24,000 acres of farm and timberland plus 85 smaller properties.  Even the smaller properties measured great value to the economic engines of their towns for they included stores and city lots.  Today, the possessed lands, valued at many millions of dollars, are often owned by individual investors or by corporations.

There are many factors that have contributed to the demise of these towns and their properties. It is estimated that over eighty-one percent (81%) of these early black landowners didn’t make wills or establish estates.  Many landowners lacked access to legal resources. Their inheritors, without a clear title, were unable to firmly claim the estate's properties and it became designated as "heirs’ property".  Without clear title, there are a great many restrictions with what one can do with their property.  Such inheritances are most prevalent in low-income communities.  In the southern states, according to one estimate, more than 50 percent of heirs’ property owners are African-American,

Many other factors contributed to the loss of black-owned land during the 20th century, including systemic lending discrimination by the US Department of Agriculture and other red-lining institutions, partition sales in which developers force the sale of a property by auction, forced bankruptcies due to outstanding property tax debt in which properties were auctioned off, the industrialization that lured workers into factories, and the Great Migrations.

Corrupt development, under the cover of darkness done even by major black corporatists, industrialists, and media personalities, has enjoined these towns and their property owners to swift demises.  The aged landowners, often isolated from families and friends, find it easy to enter into unscrupulous agreements for their property by those that they believe would do them no harm because of the color of their skin and not the content of their character.  Many an injured owner has exclaimed, " I can not believe that somebody with that kind of reputation and of my own race would take advantage of me!"  The color of money supersedes the color of skin in real-life Monopoly.

The Honorable Johnny Ford, the Founder of The World Conference of Mayors, Inc. (WCM) and the Founding President of Historic Black Towns and Settlements Alliance, Inc. (HBTSA), understands the plight of "Booker T's Towns" and unincorporated cities around the country.  According to the HBTSA website: "More than five hundred settlements were established with the physical elements and cultural institutions in a town format.  Only fifty to sixty Black towns were legally incorporated in nineteen states between 1865 and 1915.  The separate Black towns represented radical options when they were founded in the nineteenth century.  They incorporated self-government and independent enterprise into streams of African American ritual and tradition."  During the 2019 World Conference of Mayors, Inc. Collaboration Conference in Orlando and Eatonville, Florida, Mayor Ford will focus a great deal of attention on solutions for the ever shrinking and impoverished communities that once were the hopes of economic strength for minorities.  In fact, the Conference will offer the theatrical rendering of “Booker T’s Towns” by the Tuskegee Repertory Theatre, Inc.  "Booker T's Towns" is dedicated to HBTSA and is about Booker T. Washington's relationship with five (5) Negro Towns.  The setting for the play is 1915 when leaders of the towns attended the National Negro Business League Meeting and afterward gathered to meet with and thank Booker T. Washington for his support.  Their witness promotes the towns and establishes their towns' history.  What can save these overlooked tracts of American history but, first, the awareness that they exist, and secondly, that they can once again thrive.

Over time, the size of the unincorporated Town of Whitesboro has shrunk dramatically.

Abbey doesn't run to the post office anymore.  In this her latter days, arthritis in her feet and legs prevents her from moving with the cat-like quickness that she possessed in her youth.  As well, the post office is no longer run out of the house of a local family in her unincorporated town.  That family lost the right to provide for the postal needs of the small town years ago.  Now, once every two weeks, Miss Abbey gets a five-mile ride into town to get her mail from the makeshift post office in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center.  That may change soon as well and require Miss Abbey and her friend to drive further to gather the few envelopes or parcels, including her tax refund, from the postal box.  However, the United States Postal Service has an "either or"  remedy.  Miss Abigail could be driven to the brand spanking new, state of the art Postal trailer, that replaces the one room occupancy in the local community center, to gather her mail.  Or, she can get a street mailbox so that she does not have to even drive into town to get her mail.  What's the catch?  If she gets the postal box then, she will also receive a new zip code.  It will be the zip code of the neighboring jurisdiction.  As the population has aged, the choice appears self-evident.  Choose history and suffer inconvenience or choose convenience and watch a town die.

From house to house, for the sake of life, liberty, and the pursuit of convenience, the elders will watch their town disappear, right before their eyes.  Their history lost to the economic development of more powerful partners--private and public--and to their ambitious, readily endowed neighboring county and town governments.  A city created to protect those violently discriminated against because of the color of their skin in the early twentieth (20th) century watches as their past is violently seized because of the color of money in the early twenty-first (21st) century.

Their unincorporated lands invaded.

Their homes are forced into foreclosure. Despite low outstanding mortgage values, for they spent over thirty (30) years of their hardest labor paying down very high interest and slowly eroding the principle, they are unable to vanquish the high rates of property taxes, especially in the Liberty and Prosperity state.  Unable to afford the high outstanding tax debt, resulting in tax auctions, or missed mortgage payments due to medical illness expenses or reduced income due to retirement, they surrender their land, their homes, their memories to the almighty developer.  Miss Abigail must accept that her Zip Code will be changed from Whitesboro's 08252 to Cape May County's 08210.

Such a change would virtually eliminate the existence of the historical town.

A town whose citizens have suffered forced foreclosures, corrupt land acquisitions from neighboring towns and developers, and the absence of the most Constitutional protection--the power of local governance, it suffers the fate of many small unincorporated towns throughout the United States.  One day, the elder's descendants shall only know the city by the remaining signs on the two-lane road mentioning its existence.  A town ghosted.  A people silenced.
