Election 2020's War Is Against Communism Not Socialism in the United States

Give me your four-year-olds, and in a generation, I will build a socialist state.
Vladimir Lenin

President Donald John Trump warned about socialism during his State of the Union address.  Trump boldly pronounced, "Here in the United States, we are alarmed by the new calls to adopt socialism in our country.  America was founded on liberty and independence and not government coercion, domination, and control.  We are born free and we will stay free.  Tonight, we renew our resolve that America will never be a socialist country".  We were moved emotionally by the patriotic declarations of our Commander-In-Chief.  However, for many a conservative like myself, we believe that such an identification of the cultural threat is amiss.  If we are to be at war in the Middle East or on poverty then, we must accurately identify our enemy, their weaponry, and the overall risks that our troops will face in protecting our Nation,  Victory is unachievable without a prudent and proper assessment.

The United States lost the War against Socialism on March 23, 2010, when then-President Barack Hussein Obama signed into law the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, often shortened to the Affordable Care Act (ACA), nicknamed Obamacare.  The socialist ambition of former President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's New Deal had finally been accomplished.  The Holy Grail of socializing medicine and controlling the very lives of every American was celebrated throughout the land by Marxists--Democrats, Socialists, and Communists, alike.  Former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel understood what President Roosevelt understood about the economic upheaval in the land, "You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before."  President Roosevelt, under the cover of darkness--the Great Depression--to convince the American populous to exchange their natural rights as protected under the US Constitution for the assurance that the US government would economically secure and guarantee the financial well-being of every citizen.

Roosevelt argued that the "political rights" guaranteed by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights had "proved inadequate to assure us equality in the pursuit of happiness".  The Democrat-Socialist Roosevelt convinced Americans that prosperity and equality of outcomes would be best guaranteed by federal regulatory control over and taxpayer funding of government programming to ensure:

Employment (right to work), food, clothing, and leisure with enough income to support them
Farmers' rights to a fair income
Freedom from unfair competition and monopolies
Housing
Medical care
Social security
Education

As with Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, rather than focusing on the individual bubbles of financial disruptions within the economy as Ludwig von Mises would advise, it was easier to disown one of the foremost tenets of freedom--capitalism--to instill the Marxists' great covetous desires for others' profit, property and possessions into our constitutional system..

While Roosevelt intensely fought to control the lives of Americans, he could never achieve the Holy Grail of mandating every American into complete acceptance of the institutional installation of Marxism throughout every branch of governance. Only medical care could achieve this end.  Opposition from doctors, labor, insurance companies and businesses contributed to the failure of Marxists achieving compulsory national health insurance.  Roosevelt's first failure in 1935 came as his Committee on Economic Security (CES) feared that including nationalized health insurance in its Social Security legislation would threaten its passage. It was excluded.  His second attempt at nationalized medicine--the Wagner Bill, National Health Act of 1939--was stopped by Congress, thanks to the election of conservative legislators   In three decades, it would be President Lyndon Baines Johnson that would bring about nationalized medical insurance through Medicare and Medicaid.  However, those national programs only use taxpayer's monies to reach certain eligible populations.

A constitutionally protected legal measure that would achieve by mandate control of the people was the almighty endeavor of the Leftists.

Saul Alinsky, How To Create A Social State,  advised that there were eight (8) levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a social state.  The first is the most important.

 (1) Healthcare – Control healthcare and you control the people

 (2) Poverty – Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.

 (3) Debt – Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.

 (4) Gun Control – Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.

 (5) Welfare – Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income)

 (6) Education – Take control of what people read and listen to – take control of what children learn in school.

 (7) Religion – Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools

 (8) Class Warfare – Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.

The Democrat-Socialists, as authoritarians, pursued absolute control of Americans.

There was a final death knelt required.  Congress enacted the law.  The President signed it into law.  It would have to be determined constitutional.  That role was left to our Article Three (3) US Constitution institution--the US Supreme Court.  On June 28, 2012, the U.S. Supreme Court issued its decision in the case challenging the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The Court upheld the constitutionality of the ACA’s individual mandate, which required most people to maintain a minimum level of health insurance coverage beginning in 2014.  Obamacare's most major provisions were phased in by January 2014.  The remaining provisions will be phased in by 2020.  The penalty enforcing the individual mandate was eliminated starting in 2019.  On December 20, 2017, President Trump signed into law the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, which zeroed out the federal tax penalty for violating the individual mandate. In order to pass the U.S. Senate under the chambers reconciliation rules with only 50 votes, the requirement itself remains in effect.  The individual mandate is still on the books awaiting the day that the Chamber has 51 Democrat-Socialists to reinforce it.  The Affordable Care Act (ACA), Obamacare, completely transformed the United States into a socialist nation subsidized by a regulated marketplace.

Socialism is the Gateway Drug towards Communism.  Communism and socialism are referred to as two left-wing schools of economic thought that are equally opposed to capitalism.  The Left hopes to confound "normal" Americans by saying that one must focus on the theory rather than on the practice of each.  In the disguise of intellectual honesty, Leftists rarely wish that you call them either a socialist or communist but, want you to know that when the revolution comes that they will be the first to disarm the public and install the new government by coup.  Let's be very frank, communists are straight, hard-core revolutionaries and socialists are chameleons seeking the most sinister cover to rest control and rule rather than govern.  The Pseudo-Intellectuals of the Left wish to declare your ignorance because you can not give a singular definition.  However, like the difference between pornography and art,  I know each when I see them.

Socialists can be pro- or anti-free markets. It is the regulated or free exchange of commerce that provides monetary support through confiscation and taxation needed to support the endeavors of Marxist governance.  Socialists may consider their ultimate goal to be "the coming revolution" and the abolition of social classes, inequities of wealth distribution, and genders, or they may seek more "reasonable" efforts like universal healthcare, a universal pension scheme, and gun control.  There are many socialist policies like Social Security, free public education, and the eight-hour workday that are enacted and enforced within the capitalist United States.

In "Democratic socialism isn't just stupid, it conflicts with the Constitution", Jenna Ellis wrote, "Democratic socialism is inherently in conflict with the Declaration of Independence, and the founding of America on the Judeo-Christian ethic recognizing that one of the self-evident truths of reality is that we are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights, and among these are life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. This includes the fundamental right of humans to self-determine and pursues family, business enterprise, church, and God."

Communism, as an ideology, is as anti-market capitalism and anti-elective democracy as one could possibly imagine.  As a system of governance, communism tends to a one-party state that bans political dissent like governments found in most of America's urban centers.  The brilliance of President Trump, in his free-trade negotiations with China, is that he recognizes that the Communist nation is more committed to the theory than they are to the practice.  The Communist Nation's commitment to market capitalism invites discussions that require it to change its political practices to its citizenry and economic and investment practices to foreign firms.  Next to Christianity, capitalism is one of the greatest liberating forces of peoples and nations in world history.

While we pursue the liberation of the People's Republic from Hong Kong to Beijing, in spite of the National Basketball Association's protestations, we must admit two things going into Election 2020.  With the help of a demure Republican Party that is completely unrecognizable by the "Radicals" of 1860 GOP, the United States has lost the War on Socialism.  Secondly, we have been so blinded by the politically correct cry for bipartisanship that we have failed to recognize the greatest threat to America: The Encroaching Rise of Cultural Communism.  Think I'm wearing a tin-foil Adam Schiff cap then, I ask that you inspect the Forty-Five (45) Communist Goals as Read Into the Congressional Record on January 10, 1963.  The Honorable Albert Sydney Herlong Jr., a former Democrat Party Representative from Florida and a signatory to the 1956 Southern Manifesto that opposed the desegregation of public schools ordered by the Supreme Court in Brown v. Board of Education, stood before the House and read the writings of W. Cleon Skousen from the book "The Naked Communist".  As we peruse a few warnings, ask yourself how many of these have to pass.

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.
6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.
7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.
15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
18. Gain control of all student newspapers.
19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.
20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions.
21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”
23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”
24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.
25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.
26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy, and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”
27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.”
28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”
32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture–education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

Just a few for consideration.  As you look at that abbreviated list, ask yourself how many of these have come to pass.

People often write of problems without presenting solutions.  The first is to the President of the United States.  Be bold enough to admit that we have lost the War on Socialism but we are not so far along that we can not strike forth in victory.  As FDR was thwarted in the late 1930s, Americans must follow the pathway to liberation by voting in the most conservative and strict constructionists that they can find to represent them in their voting districts.  Yes, real conservatives must be elected to office to do two principal things: Overturn ObamaCare Completely and Free the Churches from the 501(c)3 regulation.  Americans must be free of governmental tyranny and liberated from state-churches.  The GOP must be galvanized to read and understand its history and not submit itself to the rewrites of American history by the Left.  While there is a political party that covers-up the quid pro quo corruption of their leading Presidential candidate, they, captured by the socialists and communists, accuse the current President of the United States of high crimes and misdemeanors of a phone call to a Ukrainian President.  The GOP must voraciously engage urban centers with a trifold purpose: illuminate, instigate, and liberate.  If Muslims can be radicalized by austere religious scholars and college students radicalized by communists and socialists professors then, urban America can be freed from the reigns of totalitarianism.  It will take the radicalization of the GOP.  Heck, Frederick Douglass and former President Abraham Lincoln would be proud.

Finally, can this change take place?  Well, the man that warned America of the threat of communism made a change late in his life.  "Although a Democrat throughout his political career, Herlong supported Richard Nixon's presidential campaign in 1968.  Herlong left Congress in 1969 but served several years on the Securities and Exchange Commission under Nixon, who nominated him for the appointment.  In 1985, he switched to the Republican party because of its increasing influence in Central Florida and his desire to vote in Republican primaries."  President Ronald Reagan in an address before the British House of Commons said:  "What I am describing now is a plan and hope for the long term — the march of freedom and democracy which will leave Marxism-Leninism on the ash heap of history as it has left other tyrannies which stifle the freedom and muzzle the self-expression of the people."  Change is a process.  America must continue the process of Making America Great Again.  It begins with an illuminated citizen that is instigated to save our nation from the socialists and communists and are liberated to live out the dreams and ambitions of a formerly oppressed people that sought the best means of liberty and freedom.
