Choosing the Future: The Power Of Media Is The Vessel of Change in Urban America

When the blessings of the Lord overtake you, it causes one to humbly consider their next steps.  I have been blessed recently with the responsibility of building two major Conservative Christian internet television networks.  The networks are to provide, 24 hours a day 7 days a week, content worthy of consideration by those seeking entertainment as well as enlightenment.  In a moment, God made me a servant leader of a dream and a prayer.  I tremble.

It has always been my dream to give the world, especially in urban America an alternative voice. Through much of my life, I lived without hearing the sincere messages of the pure Gospel of Jesus Christ, the profound strength of the US Constitution, the ingenuity of capitalism, the radiance of Classical liberalism, and the beauty--the matchless beauty--of individual sovereignty.  The tender heart of my old age winces at what I lost in my youth.  Yet, as the blood pumps boldly through my veins, the promises of God provoke me still to create an alternative message that will draw the young that they may hear a word that encourages them to possess a zest for life and all its pursuits of happiness.  While many will say that they imagined this day would come for themselves, I must sincerely confess that I never thought a thing like this possible for me.  Trust me, I am not the wisest of men.  I am not the wealthiest nor the strongest.  In my flawed heart, I sincerely do not believe myself worthy in and of my own accord.  God has always been better to me than I deserve.  In this moment of inheritance, I tremble.

Webster's Dictionary 1828 defines success as "the favorable or prosperous termination of any thing attempted; a termination which answers the purpose intended; properly in a good sense, but often in a bad sense."  While seemingly cold, the definition casts the possibilities of any pursuit.  The reality is that in anything pursued, especially business, there are two possible outcomes.  The end may be prosperity and accolades.  The end may be bankruptcy and public ridicule.  Success is not what we would prefer but, the providential outcome of our journey.  Good or bad, we shall be known by the fruit that we bear or not.  I have but, one choice of two decisions to make: pursue or end.  In this moment of pondering, I pray for wisdom.

From its Latin origins succedere meaning "get on well, prosper, be victorious", we have shared the preferences of our ancestors.  We have always wanted to do well.  As the dawn extends its radiant fingers beneath the darkness of night, I thoroughly wish to be successful in this pursuit.  I know that many returning to school or starting a new career as the days become shorter and the nights colder share this desire.  We wonder solemnly, “What is “success” and how will I know its destination?  Will it bear no burdens?  Will I have all of my friends?  Will I be wealthy beyond compare?  Will there be pain and sorrow?”  The whole of victoriously moving forward is often corrupted by our incessant nature to look back at only the bad outcomes.  We have only known failure and thus, we must repeat what we know.  We begin with an end in mind--defeat.  It is now that we prepare the public notice to our family and friends of our utter demise.  It surely does not help that you shall report this to the “I Told You So” Party.  Please give due notice of thirty days so that the masses may prepare to wrap themselves in the finest garb, rinse their teeth with the most magnificent Chablis, and celebrate your most evident demise.  No, this shall not be my beginning nor my end.  I shall not fail.

Most of us want to be successful in the eyes of others.  Don’t look at me crossly by the sworn conviction that not everyone wants to be.  Imagine the price that must be paid and sacrifices offered.  Really?  Do we all want to succeed?  Forget not that there is an industry built on the target of failure--victimization.  It is so much easier and, often, more profitable to blame another for our failures.  Indeed, the failure is not by my design or the providential outcomes of my decisions.  No!!!  It was the color of my skin.  It was where I worshipped.  It was because I was bullied in sixth grade.  No way, gimoozaabi, it was always the MAN!  Not all indeed desire advancement.

However, many want to know the feeling and the fact of Glory.  We even want to be so smug that we can find comfort in our achievements.  I desire to progress in a way that all will prosper and God will get the Glory.  These are my questions and expressions to a Loving God.  This is my heart string as the sun rises.

Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known as Pele, was, in 1999, voted World Player of the Century by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) and Athlete of the Century by the International Olympic Committee.  The soccer phenom was once asked to define “success”.  He defined it this way, “Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.”  As I have begun building The Exceptional Conservative Network® (TECN), I have become acquainted with each of these tenets.  The labors required to build a brand, market it to consumers and stakeholders, encourage volunteer staff, support tremendous hosts, operate a network, and then, host my own show are intellectually, emotionally, and often, physically, exhaustive.  Not a whine or complaint, it is merely an observation.

Success is neither a civil nor natural right.  It is, however, a worthy privilege--a particular and peculiar benefit or advantage enjoyed by a person, company or society, beyond the common advantages of other citizens.  The most sensitive amongst us would immediately harp on the concept of the citizenry.  “So are you saying, Ken, that only American citizens can be successful?”  No, safe space person, I am not.  I am acknowledging that while we may all have a similar start, our ends are not guaranteed.  It is His Grace and Mercy that allows us the privilege of achieving our intended goal, whatever it may be.  It is our purpose--that which a person sets before himself as an object to be reached or accomplished--that will require our complete essence.  Of the fiber character necessary for our Nation to remain free and independent, Thomas Jefferson prescribed what would we need most: “And for the support of this declaration we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, & our sacred honour.”  As the sun ebbs above the horizon, I know what God will require in order to please Him and to make TECN successful.  It will require all of me even when I do not want to give or sacrifice.  All of me is peanuts in comparison to all that He has given.

It is that.

Giving everything that you are to accomplish your end.  The passion--Latin pati "to endure, undergo, experience"--requirements of an employee is different than an owner’s.  The good, the bad, and the ugly of what you must endure, undergo, and experience is never equal despite the similar stewardship demands.  When I entered Blue Cross in my 20’s, I gave a lot but, in the end, I was an employee.  I was not giving everything.  When I entered the Pentagon in my 30’s, I gave my time and commitment to make certain that our military personnel and overseas citizens voted.  However, in the end, it wasn’t all of me.  When I entered Lydia’s House in my 40’s, I gave as much of me as possible to make certain that the impoverished excelled financially.  I gave but, it was not all of me.  I was passionate as an employee but, I was not the owner.  If anything, capitalism has taught me that, in free markets, ownership requires more than employment.  For an employee, it’s a paycheck.  For an owner, it’s an investment.  For an employee, it’s eight and then, on to the next important thing.  For the owner, there is no beginning and no end.  For the employee, every decision is a potential public fiasco.  For the owner, everything must be securely private and confidential even if it is a public fiasco.  In the end, we hope that all will prosper in achieving their goals.  The signature is on the check.  The decision to upgrade equipment is yours.  Everyone must be paid before you.  The vision you possess must be large enough for others to dream within it.  For the promise of success, others devote their talents, gifts and skills.  Your passion must be so great that you are willing to deny yourself, pick up your Cross, and follow His Will.

As the sun bares its warmth fully upon the Earth, the whispers from my lips emote the enormous concerns.  This exercise must not result in failure or futility.  Building two Internet television networks that are competitive with Mainstream Media and Established RINO Broadcasters seem more myth than potential achievement.  I have heard the challenges:

“Who will listen?
“Whom will watch?
“Is this even needed?
“Will Inner-City people even consider it an option?”
“No one has yet, heard of you!”
“Whom will even partner with you?”

No matter how long I persevere, it seems I return to these challenges.  Above the accomplishments, the heavy fog of inadequacy seems to eclipse all.

Ken Poirot wrote, “The Six Steps to Success [are]: (1) Define Success; (2) Devise a Plan;  (3) Execute and Overcome Adversity;  (4) Measure Results with Key Metrics; (5) Revise the Plan; and (6) Work Hard”.  Success must be more than profitable media networks.  There must be a change in our culture measured by the peace and prosperity of our people.  A change that was encouraged by authentic reforms within individuals and families, the economy, the neighborhoods, the education systems, the government, and our Faith outlets.  Reforms that were generated by a repentance of the people.  A change of mind, body, soul, and strength secured by an intense moral order and conformity to the rule of law.  As the Nation advances, so must Urban America advance.

Our plan begins with recruiting the best Christian conservative hosts in the world.  Yes, that means international!  Getting from behind the PC and into the community where the world can witness the power of Urban Conservatism.  The great adversity for many hosts is the lack of corporate sponsorship which requires the depletion of personal resources.  These patriots, as individual show owners, now have access to a confederacy of hosts which offer more opportunities for advertisers beyond the limits of singular program marketing.  In addition, hosts are made eligible for profit-sharing through our subscription based Premium Channel Network.  We begin with a metric of over 100,000 EnetLive.tv/MOUToday.tv subscribers.  That is not enough.  We will campaign to reach over 250,000 new subscribers in the 250 Major Urban Centers in the United States.  You can not change what you do not reach.  As needed, we will innovate to reach Urban America and the World.  Working Hard is what TECN has done, does, and will do.

When the blessings of the Lord overtake you, one must not give up, give in, or give over.  He has given us a gem to use to change our cities, our families, and our culture.  We have waited for everyone else.  We ran to the Democrats and they instituted genocide as their depopulation tactics.  We ran to the Republicans and they can not end their commitment to the status quo.  In this time of weakness, God has seized this day to help us strengthen our resolve.  As a servant leader, this is the day that was made for us to convert a dream and a prayer into the hope of freedom and liberty.  I tremble not in fear.  I rejoice in this moment of strength.  All for His Glory.

Electoral Bankruptcy: Black Voters Are Playing A Loser's Game with Both Sides of the Same Coin

We have been playing a loser's game with the same coin.  Our season of discontent merits pithy summations that offer blatant solutions rather than recite the problems.  We must fervently pull some from the fires of political impotence and compassionately persuade others to surrender their hostility towards sound economic reason.  The Democrat Party has played identity politics to the point that the electorally bankrupt will vote against everything that made their ancestors and themselves free.  The Republican Party has played personality politics to the point that, in the midst of the strongest conservative movement in the history of the United States, the White House has classical liberal blacks answering to a former Democrat ally of President Donald John Trump.  Even the Congressional Black Caucus has presented a treatise of lobbying points for consideration to the President of the United States.  Cricket.  Cricket.  Yes, I have not heard of a constituency of black conservatives meeting with the President since February 2017.  During that one, America was trying to figure out whether one of the Preachers was speaking for, to, or about Chicago Gang Leaders.  Remember, Chicago is Home of the Former President of the United States, Barack Obama, and Murder Capital of the Nation.  As soon as we figure it all out then, we will be able to do what our Marxists opponents were able to do in June 2017--present an agenda.

Since the dramatic upset of former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton by President Trump, we can not blame Omarosa Manigault or Telly Lovelace for the current manner in which the Grand Ol' Party has mismanaged outreach to Blacks, Negros, Coloreds, Afro-Americans, or African-Americans--which ever is acceptable in your Generation.  They are merely involved in the "Drain the Swamp" Personality Politics of the GOP.  Who could blame them for the fact that the GOP had no real plan to convert Urban "Trump" Voters into the Republican Party or the Conservative Movement?  Heck, they did not even put an Obama Care repeal plan together because even the GOP thought Trump would lose.  How could you blame them for scheduling a Black Conservative Agenda Conference on the same weekend as the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) Week?  Heck, there are very few Blacks that go to CPAC!  I guess we could wrestle a few together and put together a White Paper.  How could you blame them for the fact that the GOP Black Folks Outreach Budget covers 30 people at Golden Corral on Monday nights only as long as you are over age fifty-five (55)?  If you are under 55 then, you gotta pay the difference.

So Omarosa keeps a list.

I am quite certain that Democrats April Ryan, Roland Martin, and Pastor Jamal "We Can Co-Exist, Omarosa" Bryant find that welcome news.  Maybe Omarosa has a Black Russian listed.  Certainly, since she gave up her Black Card or it was forcibly taken by Radio Disc Jockey Al Sharpton because she supported President Trump, that would be grounds for an extensive 18-month investigation into her taxes, real estate holdings and whether Barron Trump was involved in any meetings.  I am quite certain that Roland Martin has secretly slipped an email to Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz demanding a Bi-Partisn Hearing on whether Omarosa is a racist, Islamaphobe for choosing to meet with a Black Russian and not a White Russian.  As well, how much did Russian President Vladimir Putin contribute to her wedding?  As the project manager for her wedding, I am certain that she called in all of her overdue chits.  Wouldn't want to get fired at the wedding you know!

Imagining Vlad now:

"We send the cake topping, ehhhhh, you choose the frosting, and you get rid of the sanctions.  Ehhhhhhh, it is just that easy.  Always remember Omarosa, our Russian proverb: God won't give it away, pigs won't eat it.  Ehhhhhhhhh, Congratulations."

So Omarosa keeps a list.

In the jaded world of DC Politics, the real question is, "Who doesn't?"  I notice that none are pointing to their investment portfolios.  Wouldn't it be great if we were talking about how wealthy Manigault and Lovelace have become since the Trump Stock Market Rally began?  That would be so much more irritating to the Leftists required to report daily on Russian collusion by order of the CIO's at the DNC.  CIO, Ken?  Yes, Communist Information Officers.  Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale converted to Mohammedism in Pakistan and were recruited to lead all DNC OIC's.  Forgive me snowflakes but, this is Not Racial.  Boris and Natasha are White Russians.

The drama of personality politics offers cynics. like myself, much fodder for a comedic sketch.  However, both the acceptance of Identity Politics on the Left and Personality Politics on the Right reveal just how truly politically insolvent we are.  For the sake of understanding the plight of Urban Electoral conditions, let us review some terms.  Personality is defined as a "person whose character stands out from that of others".  Identity is defined as "sameness, oneness, state of being the same".  Politics is defined as "a person's political allegiances or opinions".  Policy is defined as a "plan of action, way of management".  Based on the high taxes, extensive regulations, and restrictions of liberty and freedom, the ultimate goal is implementing policy changes that promote Christianity, Conservatism, Capitalism, Constitutionalism, and Individual Sovereignty.  Our objective should be liberating Urban America for the sanctity of the Nation.

"Top Down" political organization has debilitated the Urban American process of protecting our liberties and freedoms.  The GOP, never expecting to get more than 5% of the Black Vote, have targeted individuals to uplift in order to draw all other voters.  The theory is that maybe if one of you makes political sense then, more Blacks, Asians, and Hispanics will jump on board.  Hence, the political allegiances will be built on the sway of an individual "leader's" charisma and political opinions solidified by fanatic certainty.  The most crushing occurrence is when the Black Vote does not lift above the 5% threshold.  The individual's attraction is discounted and the interest to pursue Urban America is rejected soundly on merit.  Disheartened, individuals isolate and choose sides within the Party.  The firing squad goes into full operation and the circle claims its victims.  The Grade is an F and no one wins.

The Democrats practice Identity politics.  A successful "Top Down" strategy of divide and conquer where the few rule the many.  The only right answer is more government.  Every issue must go through the filter of age, religion, social class or caste, culture, dialect, disability, education, ethnicity, language, nationality, sex, gender identity, generation, occupation, profession, race, political party affiliation, sexual orientation, settlement, urban and rural habitation, and veteran status.  Notice that liberty and freedom are not filters.  It does not matter that everyone votes for the party.  What is good for the party leader rises above the needs of the individual citizen.  Taxes rise!  It's ok.  It's good for the party.  Obama Care means Grandma loses her cancer doctor.  It's ok.  It's good for the party.  Unemployment drenches a particular group in poverty.  It's ok.  It's good for the party.  Although the majority votes, the result is disenfranchisement by choice.  The Grade is an F and no one wins.

ESPN Analyst Stephen A. Smith, at Vanderbilt University, eloquently spoke on the decade's old electoral bankruptcy faced by modern voters.  Smith said, “Black folks in America are telling one party, ‘We don’t give a damn about you.  They’re telling the other party, ‘You’ve got our vote.’  Therefore, you have labeled yourself ‘disenfranchised’ because one party knows they’ve got you under their thumb.  The other party knows they’ll never get you and nobody comes to address your interest."

Let this be plain amongst us.  Since the President Franklin Delano Roosevelt Era, Blacks have suffered from electoral insolvency.  Haven surrendered our natural rights for the security of government issued assurances, we have allowed ourselves to become static in the most dynamic nation in the world.  Static in finance.  Static in economics.  Static in politics.  Static in education.  With the promise of a "Kitchen Cabinet", we have traded the power, affluence, and influence of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for the politically correct poverty that justifies reviling men for their ancestry's sins.  Rather than propelling men to overcome the lack of their forebearers with the inheritance for our children and our children's children, we are left to punish our progeny with the aspirations of radicals deemed poverty pimps by Booker T. Washington.

For twenty pieces of silver, we have empowered the poverty pimps and Marxist culturalists to take from us what slave masters could never forcibly acquire from their chattel: the pursuit of individual sovereignty.  In Urban America, especially, we have defouled the dreams of those lashed upon, having forgiven their enslavers, and pursued the course of tyranny with all its rose colored detriments.  We have traded our birthright protections for a cup of soup.  Surrendered the sacred for the secular.  Yet, with unbridled gall, we blame those that have no weight in our game-play for the expected outcomes of the game that we have played.  You blame the "alt-right" for being conspiratorial yet, the truth is no conspiracy is required.  There has been no need for one since Dr. W. E. B. DuBois convinced "God-fearing" black preachers to fight for abortion.  Everything the Confederates ever desired to do to your ancestors, you have voted for it to be done to your inheritance--your children's children.  Imagine if HBO did a series where black men and women did not abort their children.  Maybe they would call it "The Birthing Fields".

I digress.

Forgive me, as I try to convey simplicities to the Ivory Tower elite among us.  If what we call abortion was done in predominately third world nations by stronger tribes upon weaker tribes then, you would call it "genocide" and regale in protest before that nation's embassies in New York or Washington, DC.  I dare say your anti-capitalist stint of protest would be recorded on I-phone in between hourly Starbuck's runs.  That's until someone explains that genocide is caused by climate change and then, you would be off to the next snowflake event.

There is no need to question the outcomes of Top Down political organization.  We can see its results in income, marriage, safety, poverty, and housing statistics.  There are three basic solutions that must be practiced to move us away from Top Down failures.  One, we must focus on developing competent conservative candidates at the local level and nationalize their primary electoral pursuits.  Winning matters.  The conservative movement must embrace its candidates as early as possible.  Political allegiances tied early to primary funding makes it more likely that we will vet and solidify classical liberals for political victory rather than temporarily supporting Republicans In Name Only (RINO's) that await the Glory of GOP support in the General Election.  Secondly, we must promote, market, and support an agenda that liberates Urban America.  It must be something that radical Republican Frederick Douglass would be proud to convey.  We must not fail ourselves by elevating one above the other which has guaranteed our ultimate failure within the GOP.  We must find courageous local Titans of conservatism to speak at community events, local hearings, and other events.  Which brings us to the third point, supporting conservative media.  Preachers reach hundreds, maybe even thousands, of captive listeners in one setting.  Even with the best social media applications, it is rare to pass a million viewers and/or listeners mark for most.  However, there are literally hundreds of local conservative media that broadcast nightly and reach hundreds of thousands of viewers and/or listeners.  Instead of waiting to appear on the curvy couch at 6:10 AM for the world to see you, the greater return on investment will come from appearances on local conservative media.  I know, I know!  There are only two black conservative shows that you know of: Lonnie Poindexter's Lionchasers Show and Stacy Washington's Stacy on the Right.  Yes, fellow conservatives, we need to get out more.  Including TECN TV, there are hundreds of other great program hosts waiting to serve you and their community.  Unfortunately, these hosts find it easier to schedule a Radical Socialist than a virtuous Right Winger.  That curvy couch must be huge!  Doing just these three things at the start of the Election Season 2018, beginning Labor Day, will markedly improve political, economic, and cultural outcomes for Urban America.

ESPN's Smith challenged those oppressed by identity and personality politics to consider switching their vote just once.  Smith contests that black Americans "would both scare the Democrats and inspire the Republicans into competing for their vote".  So what would this do?  It would encourage people on both sides to “cater” to interests.  His advice: “shop around”.  Smith concludes, “We don’t do that with politics and then we blame white America for our disenfranchisement.”  Urban America, it's time to cease and desist from personality and identity politics.  Playing A Loser's Game with Both Sides of the Same Coin is sincerely passee.

American Voters: It Is Time to Repeal and Replace Your Establishment Senator and Representative

Yes, it's your fault, Mr. and Ms. American Voter.  Let's not beat around the Bush with a finely layered supposition tenuously acknowledging the political cleverness of legislators to force a "Cage" Fight in Conference to Repeal ObamaCare.  The Unions of Capital Hill--the Bernie Sanders Marxists, the Charles Schummer Socialists, and the Mitch McConnell Establishment--have endorsed Socialized Medicine.  You can call it Universal Health Care or Affordable Health Care.  Any way you package manure, it still smells like manure.  When the Patriotic US Senators, draped in the Nation's War Colors of Red, White, and Blue, stood upon the floor of the Upper House of the United States Congress, they were given the opportunity to fight for the freedoms and liberties of their heritage as witnessed in the warnings of former President Ronald Reagan:

"...pretty soon your son won't decide when he's in school, where he will go or what he will do for a living. He will wait for the government to tell him."

Did these men and women of reason stand with one of the most revered freedom fighters in world history?  When given the opportunity to stand in strength, they fell in weakness.  NO!  The Party of Lincoln has now surrendered to the Parties of Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, and Fidel Castro.  Universal Health Care has been embraced even by the Mighty Right.  Hey Lincoln, remember that letter from Karl?  Betcha the Trier Tavern Club President is feeling kind of accomplished now, Mr. Civil War Commander-In-Chief.

O, the eternal wit and persistence of the American progressive.  Down one falls, two get up.  You cling to your First and Second Amendments, they install their Second Bill of Rights.  You say Donald Trump is President and the Grand Ol' Party Congress will eliminate Obama Care, they embrace seven Republican Senators to keep socialized medicine alive.  You gotta love 'em, Mr. and Ms. American Voter.  We were told that this was a two-foot putt.  This was as easy as dropping an ice cube into a glass.  We would vote in a Radical Congress that would send an Obama Care repeal bill to the President's Desk for signature faster than you can repeat the faithful ramblings of Representative Nancy Pelosi, "We Have to Pass the Bill So That You Can Find Out What Is In It".  Please, no sudden moves.  You will frighten her.

We are less than forty-five (45) days away from Labor Day, the open electoral campaign season, and the unsinkable GOP can't even get a repeal plan out of Congress.  How easy must it be to say that government is too big not to fail and Obama Care is its greatest example of deficiency?  You can not embrace a rose bush without being punctured by the thorns.  Yet, the GOP is embracing the core principles of socialized medicine.  The essential tool to ruling men rather than governing them.  Six-time Socialist Party Presidential candidate, American socialist Norman Thomas, advised, "the American people would never vote for socialism. But he said under the name of liberalism, the American people would adopt every fragment of the socialist program."  This was not 2010.  This was not 1996.  This was 1927!  Thomas said to mask the intention and then, the American people will give you the result.  "One of the traditional methods of imposing statism or socialism on a people has been by way of medicine. It’s very easy to disguise a medical program as a humanitarian project…Now, the American people, if you put it to them about socialized medicine and gave them a chance to choose, would unhesitatingly vote against it."  Yes, but the American legislator knows.  The US Senator, standing on the floor, knows.  Senator Susan Collins knows how detrimental socialized medicine is to an economy and rural health care outcomes.  They knew.  A full repeal was offered.  They rejected it.  The GOP senators embraced socialized medicine.

Former House Speaker John Boehner is correct.  No need to fix the video recorder.  Boehner at a Las Vegas private dinner revealed, “Now, they’re never — they’re not going to repeal and replace Obamacare."  Why would the Oracle of Ohio pessimistically prophecize this?  Let the Crier of the House continue.  Boehner struts his stuff, “It’s been around too long and the American people have gotten accustomed to it. Governors have gotten accustomed to this Medicaid expansion, and so trying to pull it back is really not going to work.”  So it can not be Sens. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn.; Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va.; Susan Collins, R-Maine; Dean Heller, R-Nev.; John McCain, R-Ariz.; Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska; and Rob Portman, R-Ohio, who joined all Democrats to defeat the repeal.  It's not the legislators.  It's you, Mr. and Ms. American Voter!

The American Voter is suffering from Electoral Dysphoria.  Yes, the American Voter is suffering from a state of dissatisfaction, anxiety, restlessness, or fidgeting.  We are dissatisfied with the impacts of Obama Care on our economy.  We are anxious about how this borg project will negatively impact our gross domestic product (GDP) and thus, increase unemployment for those that need work most.  We are restless from the endeavor of replacing local, state, and federal office holders and still the boa grip of Obama Care tightens.  We are fidgeting from the fear that we have reached the end of the line, electoral exhaustion has set in, and the Progressives shall return to install the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).  Whom did you send to declare War on the Left?  You, Mr. and Ms. American Voter, sent a valiant challenger into battle and provided no armor or rations.  Congratulations Trump!  Go Get'em Boy!  I'll send my same legislative warrior to make certain that nothing gets accomplished.  Thanks Arizona for wrestling Senator McCain from his sick bed so that he could vote against the repeal.  I know, I know, Mr. and Ms. American Voter!  Drain the Swamp but not My Guy!

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Tesla CEO Elon Musk argue over the benefits and threats of Artificial Intelligence (AI).  Zuckerburg says that AI will create family friendly robots like Rosie the Robot.  Musk believes AI will eventually create Gort from the Day the Earth Stood Still.  Our Natural Intelligence (NI) as Voters has created Champions like Senators Mike Lee and Ted Cruz.  Our NI has also given us Susan Collins and Shelley Moore Capito.  The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly of All of This Is That in the End, the Masters are made the Slaves and the Servants have risen in rebellion to seize absolute control.  You once had a Constitution.  You now have a Congress.  Under one, you were the Master.  Under the Other, You have been made a Slave.  The last slaveholders in this Nation were Democrats and were tolerated by Republicans throughout Jim Crow.  Today, Mr. and Ms. American Voter, have we not just repeated history?  Indeed, we have.

I know, I know, Mr. and Ms. American Voter!  You did not write the "Obamacare Repeal Reconciliation Act of 2017".   Yes, that was Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's Team.  Boy did that get smacked back, 45 - 55, by the socialized medicine champions!  You did not vote against the "Obamacare Repeal Reconciliation Act of 2017".  Yes, that was Sens. Alexander, R-Tenn.; Capito, R-W.Va.; Collins, R-Maine; Heller, R-Nev.; McCain, R-Ariz.; Murkowski, R-Alaska; and  Portman, R-Ohio.  You did not kick the can down the Road by considering a "Skinny" bill.  On a bi-partisan effort, Oprah Winfrey and Marie Osmond were responsible for proposing this piece of legislation.  A "Skinny" bill is created when those you sent to Washington to do your will have chosen to their own and the will of patrons.  America, you sent the Establishment to Washington to eliminate government.  You don't need a "leak" to know that your plan will fail.  People that love BIG Government will never fight to destroy it.  They will just rename it to assuage your concerns.  Unless you make up your mind then, socialism is alive and well and we a mere two (2) generations from becoming the United Kingdom (UK).  Can you say, Charlie Gard?

Let me explain something, Mr. and Ms. American Voter.  The destabilization of the insurance marketplace began when the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act was enacted by the 111th United States Congress as the federal statute and signed into law by President Barack Obama on March 23, 2010.  The painful destruction of the American health care system has occurred daily since a Democrat Congress passed it and a Democrat President signed it into law.  Nuns have been asked to give condoms to clients.  Cancer patients have lost access to physicians needed for healing.  Children, at the inquiry of their pediatrician, have been asked to turn their parents into government officials by announcing that "Mommie and Daddy have a gun."  Secular bishops, pastors, and ministers have encouraged their sheep to offer themselves on the healthcare altar subject to multi-thousand dollar deductibles and extensive out-of-pocket expenses.  Adults and children are dying because of Obama Care.  They die because the politics--inside the church and outside of the church--have created a structure where the government is now God and God no longer exists.  Socialist Thomas warned the Democrats how to install statism and the guys you sent to Washington did it.  They do not want to change it.  They will not change it.  You must change them.  Repeal and replace the GOP with True Conservatives in 2018.

Mr. and Ms. American Voter, the power is in your hands.  You have a choice.  You can choose a conservative that believes that your liberties and natural rights must be protected.  Or you can keep promising to drain the swamp while returning the swamp monsters to Washington.  Grow up!  It's your guy.

Blue Dogging Texas: The More Successful the Lone Star State Is, The Greater the Risk of the GOP Losing It

If I was the Governor of America's Lone Star State, I would be flying into Midway Airport in Chicago, Illinois to Host An In-Town Meet and Greet.  I would sit down with John Kerin, Chicago Stock Exchange CEO, and Terrence A. Duffy, The Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) Chairman and CEO, and express the great benefits of moving to Fort Worth-Dallas, Houston or Austin.  I would invite every foreign investor, every corporate honcho, every small business owner, and every McDonald's employee that subscribed to the Nancy Pelosi Sure Fire Plan of Stirring the Economy by Raising the Minimum Wage to greet me at the Skydeck Chicago.  Why?  Merely to extend the invitation to try Texas.  The Friendship state offers everything that a reasonable tax revenue patron of the Land of Lincoln could desire.

Since the Obama generated US economic malaise, Texas has been the engine of national prosperity.  Former Governor Rick Perry and current Governor Gregory Wayne Abbott have been committed to installing "conservative, free-market fiscal policies in order to keep Texas the best state in the nation to live, work and do business".  In 2012, Texas grossed more than $264.7 billion a year in exports—more than exports of California ($161.9 billion) and New York ($81.4 billion) combined.  It is the second largest economy in the United States with over $1.6 trillion in state gross product.  The personal income tax in Texas is a whopping zero percent (0%).  The District of Columbia personal income tax rate, having been cut by the communist council, ranges from 4% for the poor to a millionaires' tax of $82,025, plus 8.95% of the excess above $1,000,000.  Texas has mastered affordable housing.  While property taxes are high, housing prices are inexpensive.  Unlike DC, Texas is a tax donor state, meaning they pay more in federal taxes than they get back.  According to the Real Estate Center of Texas A&M University, "Texas' pace of job creation continued to exceed the nation's in May 2017. Texas gained 266,600 nonagricultural jobs from May 2016 to May 2017, an annual growth rate of 2.2 percent, higher than the nation's employment growth rate of 1.6 percent. The nongovernment sector added 233,200 jobs, an annual growth rate of 2.3 percent, higher than the nation's employment growth rate of 1.8 percent in the private sector."  Texas' fiscal success is squarely built upon the shoulders of conservatism, capitalism, and constitutionalism.  The government of the consent has restrained itself in order to protect rights and increase prosperity.

Texas beware!

There are three major reasons that you should beware the sting of allowing and watching Texas go BLUE.  Firstly, in spite of your success in applying the inspirational American Way to your state's politics and economy, there are the Leftists that have ideologically royally prosecuted your pursuits of life, liberty, and happiness in the courts of political opinion.  They came peacefully to exploit your wares for personal gain lacking repentance of the undying commitment to the doctrines that made them leave their former bankrupt abodes.  Marxism wasn't why they had to leave.  It was not applied fast enough or well enough.  Like coal miners rising above ground, the unrepentant Leftists are refreshed with a new opportunity to invade, occupy, and then, conquest. Smell that fresh redistribution of wealth.  Their generals have called upon the failed cities for re-enforcements:

The armies are amassing in each of these camps.  Their populations grow: Houston up 10%, McAllen up 10%, El Paso up 5%, San Antonio up 12%, Laredo up 9 %, Dallas Up 10%, Ft. Worth up 15%, Brownsville Up 5%, and Austin up 20%.  Ah, reinforcements have arrived.  What are the newbies being taught?  We lost in Detroit, Milwaukee, Chicago, and Columbus but, we will get it right in Texas.

Secondly, the Establishment has sold off the assets of Republicanism.  Robert A. Divine, T. H. Breen, et al., in American Story (2007), refer to republicanism as "more than a particular form of government. It was a way of life, a core ideology, an uncompromising commitment to liberty, and a total rejection of aristocracy."  We once believed the power in the hands of the citizenry yet, now we march to the drums of the privileged, few, ruling class of the Washington, DC Beltway.  The Left storm the Gates of Power in 2008 and spent two years scheming, plotting, and then, swindling the American people to accept socialized medicine rather than the unalienable right of keeping government at bay from our personal medical well-being.  The citizenry rebelled against the tyranny of the Left. In election after election, the cry was loud and clear: "Repeal Obama Care"!  Not until the aristocracy of K Street became involved that the American people the response to the call: "...and Replace Obama Care".  The privileged few of Washington understand that President Barack Obama delivered the Holy Grail to the Washington Power Base--Democrat and Republican.  What Establishment Icon wants to surrender the utter conquest of the Bill of Rights for the sake of you keeping your doctor, or your health plan, or your hospital?

Suddenly, the hymnal was altered and people began to sing from its pages, "Repeal and Replace, Repeal and Replace!"  Now after nearly a decade of electoral revolt, we have a Congress so inept that it neither speaks against socialism nor presents a strategy that does not install socialism lite.  Who was the enemy in this Olympic battle to throw off the chains of tyranny: the Freedom Caucus. Men and Women that you sent to Washington expecting Obama Care to disappear and free-markets to return were greeted with ire from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave to Capitol Hill.  Clutch the Pearls, How dare they request the dismissal of the law that eliminated the First Bill of Rights.  Yes, these men and women demanded much:

(1) Repealing the ban on lifetime limits: Obamacare requires insurers cannot put an annual or lifetime dollar limit on spending for health care services that are not considered essential health benefits.

(2) Cutting preventive health service coverage: This would repeal the requirement for insurers to fully cover preventive services such as birth control. The requirements were put in place by Obamacare to address a gender disparity in healthcare, as women pay more than men for insurance.

(3) Repealing the essential health benefits: The essential health benefits are 10 healthcare conditions that insurance plans have to cover. They include hospitalization, maternity care and mental health or addiction treatment.

Yeah, I can see why you want to find the most "moderate" Republican to primary in the Freedom Caucus districts in 2018.  These guys are trying to mess up Washington, DC as we know.  You mean forfeit centralized governance for the sake of personal liberty.  Excuse me while I take this swallow of water while restraining from sincere laughter.

In the Belly of Beast, the Warriors on the Red Side of the aisle must have savored this moment since Virginia's Baptist Preachers forced James Madison to write the Bill of Rights in exchange for their vote in his 1788 congressional election.  Republican Sen. Pat Toomey, during a Town Hall meeting, explains how tenacious the Right has been in preparing for the Affordable Care Act's  Judgement Day.

“Look, I didn’t expect Donald Trump to win, I think most of my colleagues didn’t, so we didn’t expect to be in this situation.”

OK.  Well, they expect to work together to secure and protect our unalienable rights and certainly not surrender this great moment in American history to the Left.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (SC-R) admits he does not want a partisan Obamacare repeal bill. Graham said, “I hope for a bipartisan bill.”

Pro-Choice Stalwart Sen Susan Collins (ME-R) says, “I really want us to have a bipartisan bill.  I just think it will be so much better.  And we have better ideas.  So that’s my goal.  You end up with a better bill, you end up with better acceptance by the public.”

Well, if not fully prepared and knowing there are some willing to compromise our way of life then, the mighty must stand to fight the tyranny to come in word and deed.  Right?

US Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says, "If my side is unable to agree on an adequate replacement, then some kind of action with regard to the private health insurance market must occur...No action is not an alternative...We've got the insurance markets imploding all over the country, including in this state."

Texas beware!

What you thought would be protected is being offered for the gods of bipartisanship as a living sacrifice, wholly and acceptable in the sight of the ruling class.  Those sent to guard our liberties have fallen asleep and the treasure is to be had by the Left.  The Establishment came as Dewayo of the Beltway and plan to leave as the Snallygaster.  You have those Republicans that are willing to compromise your way of life for the sake of getting something done.  Anything but the right thing.

Thirdly, Conservatives have surrendered the inner cities.  I know, I know.  There are no conservatives in Urban America.  They all moved out to the suburbs with the major malls that will never close, with the low crime rates, and the boundless amounts of disposable income.  The ones that remain are more likely to side with a Socialist than with a "hardcore" right winger.  Can't go to Big Mama's House acting like President Donald Trump.  Why should we even promote a Republican candidate in the inner-city?  Sure he or she will win the primary when the other three courageous Republicans come out to vote for him.  However, it would be a waste of resources that could be better spent on conservatives at great risk in Freedom Caucus Districts.  The suburban vote is so assured that merely visiting an inner city can be seen as a necessary political public relations opportunity.  I know that your first response is  Congressman Will Hurd (Helotes) (R-TX) in te 23rd District of Texas.  Yes, he has been a proven champion in the Congress from January 3, 2015 – present.  The unfortunate thing is that Helotes is not San Antonio proper.

Texas beware!

Understanding the obstacles should make conservatives better warriors rather than occupiers of safe spaces.  Sure, we know that there are many weapons pointed back at us: the lack of on-air messengers in public media;  the civil rights miseducation of city dwellers; the acceptable standard of socialism; the lack of champions of Christianity, conservatism, capitalism, constitutionalism, and individual sovereignty; and the myths effective public policy.  We know that the more densely populated an area the more likely that its citizens, or nowadays residents, vote for the Democrat.  However, time is changing and so are people's minds.  Urban conservatives must no longer wait for others to do for them what they must do for themselves.  This is the moment to advance.  The last generation is suffering from decades of socialist policies.  The Power to the People Movement grandchildren suffers from high unemployment, a choice between paying the mortgage or the health insurance bill, exorbitant student loans that negatively impact credit files and home purchase ability, acknowledgment of genocide thanks to the high abortion rates, and "race-based" gentrification.  Democrats must be "dissatisfied, angry, and worried".  No really, in order to get a solution to their problems, they must be emotionally unstable.  They can not use reason to say that socialism and corruption did not work.  No!  They must be ready to march and blame others for the problems created by their ideological beliefs.   It is when they organize meetings that produce no real solutions that we should be there to offer the truth.

Sandra Seegars: "Meetings are great.  Will there be a solution to stop whites from moving in and blacks moving out?  I don't think so. We need to become employable, educated and employed.  Perhaps a better resume and network."

Illinois raising the personal income tax is merely the icing on a cake that was created by racism, greed, envy, and corruption under the guise of socialism.  As more and more people pile into urban centers, we must more often raise a standard against ignorance and intolerance. If we are capitalists then, we should always present an alternative product for the marketplace.  It will not always be the case in Texas that the outer borders supply the certainty of voter outcome or interest.  Listen, I pray that someday DC would have a political leader like Governor Abbott.  However, urban centers must remember what it took for Texas to become the diamond of conservatism and capitalism.  It was not always so.  Democrats once held the reigns of the Lone Star State.  It was grit, tenacity, perseverance, and the exceptional pursuit of success that brought about dominion under the Republicans.  Texas had help both foreign and domestic to build it as a bastion of strength today.  Urban America is in need of each from conservatives.

Illinois is offering a great opportunity for political and economic salvation from the likes of Frederick Douglass Republicans and governmental leaders like Governor Abbott.  To not seize this moment, we shall regret it.  Conservatives within Illinois can speak a liberation message that even the good people of Venezuela would be open to receive.  We must strike while the iron is hot and not wait for someone else to give us the heat or the iron.  Texas must bring its liberation message to Illinois to recruit businesses and persons that are willing to enjoy the features and benefits of Friendship State life.  Free Market liberation may prosper more than a business but a people as well.

Governor Abbott just may be on their way, Chicago.  For your sake, I hope so.

Distant Lovers: The Necessity for Effectual Networking Within the Urban Conservative Movement

Marvin Gaye was one of the most prolific Motown artists in music history.  His 1973 gem, "Let's Get It On", became his most commercially successful album.  Posthumously, the album was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame and deemed a recording of "historical significance" by the Recording Academy.  In Greg Kot's July 1994 Chicago Tribune article, "Gaye Is Still What's Goin' On Massive Motown Reissue Celebrates Singer's Lasting Legacy", the author writes, "while the album is replete with erotic imagery, both implied and explicit, it is also as much preoccupied with distance and unfulfilled need".  It is this pre-occupation that is most glaring in the Urban Conservative Movement.  We may love conservatism as others do yet, there seems an enormous chasm between key bodies that must work together in order to carry out cultural guerilla warfare in Urban America.  Additionally, our needs seemed more unfulfilled now than ever even when we have seen the largest bump of Republican voters during the election of President Donald John Trump.  In the midst of our "distant lover" relationships, it is more so now than ever essential that we bind together within the Movement and begin to implement strategies that will successfully incorporate the principles of Christianity, Conservatism, Capitalism, Constitutionalism and Individual Sovereignty to capitalize on our electoral boon and the liberation of America's cultural institutions.

Dr. Alveda King referred to me as a "very radical" messenger of the Urban Conservative narrative at the Freedom Journal Institute's (FJI) Black Conservative Summit at the Heritage Foundation, Washington, DC, July 15 - 17, 2017.  Among progressives, the term warrants a sense of concern as its interpretation is "a person who holds or follows strong convictions or extreme principles; extremist."  Unfortunately, many modern urban conservatives have also held to this perception and eschew individuals, like me, from their "network" because of the great risk one may incur having any or such an association.  Imagine urban conservative notables making such analysis: "I might lose what I have in terms of resources, funding, engagements, or--'Heavens to Murgatroyd'--Facebook likes."  This thinking glares when Movement leaders for the past two decades have fought against personality politics on the Left but rewarded for maintaining personality politics on the Right for the sake of survival.  For those that misunderstand, Dr. King was referred to me as "a person who advocates fundamental political, economic, and social reforms by direct and often uncompromising methods."  She knows me, in the political sense, as a "reformist".  By etymology, the Late Latin radicalis means "of or having roots," defined as "going to the origin, essential".  I am one that believes that we should pursue truth, without prejudice of Party, to protect the freedoms of and liberate the oppressed in Urban America.  Yet, we will never accomplish these great tasks less we openly admit that we have problems and that we agree to unite, urban radical and moderate, alike, to solve them.

Speaking of the FJI Black Conservative Summit at the Heritage Foundation, Dr. Eric Wallace did a wonderful job bringing some of the best and brightest--Dr. King, Star Parker, Dr. Patrick Fagan, Walter Hoye, et al--to Washington, DC to offer solutions to Urban American crises.  However, attendance was paltry in comparison to the worthiness of the presenters.  A Pastor asked me, "Ken, How do they get people like that and produce no turnout?"  Certainly, a worthy question.  Its answer is in no way a slight.  It is the realization that the old model is broken and is in need of urgent replacement.

I have two responses.

One is more radical than the other.  I will start with the more conventional one in three parts.  We can blame "fake news organizations".  What often is the lack of attention is the result of a less than interested media, limited publicity outlets, and the acceptance of mediocre attendance results.  Where can Freedom Journal Institute (FJI) go to announce to the world this great event, promote it within a reasonable budget, and get in the front of people that make kitchen table decisions?  Let me first advise that the network that was once known to be "fair and balanced" until they dropped that last week was completely disinterested and TVOne and BET could care less.  So where can they go to reach large audiences that would be interested in their message?  Is there a conservative news network that is interested in urban issues as a niche?  Can't think of one?  Many moderates would prefer that you not think of one either.  They want you focused on the "curvy couch" because it would be impossible to build a conservative media network that would have the reach necessary to profit such summits, conferences, and events.  At least not an urban one!!!  This is the problem with the acceptance of "personality politics" within the conservative movement.  So much focus on the visibility of a few and little development of a focus that builds the many.  The few available Big City progressive media options have little interest in presenting urban conservative solutions either because their major city audiences lack political support for them or their advertisers do not want to risk economic retaliation.

Secondly, there are limited publicity outlets.  Where are the urban conservative publicists out there?  Most are on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.  However, events with a great magnitude like the FJI Black Conservative Summit or The Exceptional Conservative Network's® Internet Television Debut at Freedom Fest X in Las Vegas, NV in July 2017 require a tremendous effort by specialists and the grassroots within the Movement.  Publicity requires advertising as well as direct marketing.  The adherence to  "personality politics" makes us believe that if we announce that someone will be there, that the world will come.  That season has passed away unless you are President Trump and, even he sends messengers ahead of his arrival to plan it, announce it, promote it, and assure its success, including attendance.  Three themes are keys to modern publicity: birth, love, and death.  The FJI Black Conservative Summit focused on economic success, marriage, and abortion.  Where was the publicity?  The Exceptional Conservative Network's® Internet Television Debut at Freedom Fest X in Las Vegas, NV will focus on economic success, political liberty, and tyranny.  Each of these reveals deficits in Urban America.  Yet, many of us will not mention it to others because we know that "there are not many of us to mention it to".  No word of mouth, no publicity.  No text, no publicity.  No advertisement, no publicity.  If we truly believe in liberty then, we must put choices in front of others that they may choose.  If we do not then, our silence is pure tyranny.  Whom will buy into our philosophies if we do not sell them in the marketplaces.  We must unite to make certain that events like the aforementioned not only get publicity but, get attended.

Thirdly, we have an acceptance of mediocre attendance results.  Going into America's inner cities, President Trump radically campaigned on the promise of rebuilding.  Upon Trump's meeting with Steve Harvey, CNN’s Marc Lamont Hill referred to Harvey and blacks like him as "A bunch of mediocre negroes being dragged in front of TV as a photo-op for Donald Trump’s exploitative (sic) campaign against black people”.  Righteously, Sherrif David Clarke responded,"I am tired of this jigaboo telling black people who they should be, what they should do.  He’s a lackey for Democrats."  Political and social extremist like Professor Hill exemplify the analysis of 19th century Civil Rights Leader Booker T. Washington: “There is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don’t want the patient to get well … because as long as the disease holds out they have an easy means of making a living and an easy medium through which to make themselves prominent before the public.”  As Urban Conservatives, we know that Blacks, Hispanics, and Asians will avoid our events based, not on the color of their skin but, on the content of their political ideology.  Our expectations are skewed by our beliefs that, while statistics show that more black men voted for Trump than for any other Republican for the Presidency since 1972, Blacks just do not agree with the ideology.  Past experience has become the guarantee of future success.  We must no longer accept the excuse that people will not attend our events.  We must aggressively pursue men and women that we have believed "uninterested" by sake of ideology to come and listen.  Especially those that have voted for President Trump.  We must become the bridge by which people cross to make a change of life rather than a change of vote.  We have a story that is worthy to be told.  We must recruit the audience to hear it.

This is my second response.

Urban Conservative, you can not face the culture war using the same methodologies of the Establishment Right and Left.  You have been dropped in for Special Operations in the Urban Marketplace of America's Largest Metropolitans.  Let's Be Real!  As far as the Black Vote, the Republican Party has learned to win without it and the Democrat Party has learned to lose with it.  The Black Vote is no longer an interest.  There is only one thing that matters to the political world--Winning!   Victory brings money, power, and a riveted audience.  We have proven that "personality politics" will not help us cross the finish line.  Is that noticeable?  Heck yes!

The victory puts you on center stage at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).  The victory demands US Senators and Congressmen attend your events not as a favor to you but, as a favor to them.  The victory puts you on the "Curvy Couch" and even the progressive hard chair.  The victory makes people put money where their mouth refuses to be.  The victory does not come from isolated efforts by a talented few.  Nor does it occur by those seeking the success of the old models.  What's the old model?  Urban Non-Profits and Faith-Based Groups reach out to the Top 50 Conservative Think Tanks to provide essential resources for events.  The response is, "We have limited resources, we will see what we can do."  Having turned to the old model, where do we go from here?  We pray.

Where Is CURE amongst our Nation's Top 50 Think Tanks?  Where is the support of media options like FJI and TECN® TV?  Where is the connection with the National Black Chamber of Commerce?  The new model will require us to coalesce, unite, promote one another, and outperform.  It requires that we reach for-profits, businesses small and large, that will support Think Tanks like CURE with their resources.  We are Capitalists.  We should promote free enterprise and economic independence.  Our storytellers should be our capitalists.  They win wars without bullets.  Our Think Tanks must seek out advertising and publicity through our media groups and publicists.  We must network with our political action committees to produce victorious ambassadors of the conservative message in Urban America.  Finally, we use our resources in atmospheres that uniquely offer the largest available venues for the presentation of our message.  It is not enough for a few to attend and be re-energized.  We must take on public policy, foreign policy, economic proposals, and Faith messages even to centers that may not openly receive them.  We can not wait for the National GOP to rescue us.  We must lead them and not follow them.  The National GOP planned a Black Agenda Summit in Rural Virginia at the same time as CPAC 2017.  Really?  Who was going to attend the Summit when CPAC offered a better venue.

With tremendous assurance, many will shun me for being so real!

"How dare you, Ken!"

"You have not been through what we have been through.  You have not been to certain meetings or attended certain GOP calls.  You demand perfection and that's the enemy of getting something done."
Really?  President Trump won with the largest number of black voters since President Richard Nixon.  Every other group has presented President Trump with an agenda.  Where ours be at?  Yes, I assure you that "radical" Ken will not be invited to the local "cocktail" circuit because he's not trying to be "a team player".  "Radical" Ken will not be sharing lunch with Republican Faith leaders because "he may mess up our network.  We got a good thing and don't want to mess it up."

Urban America, under President Barack Obama, suffered the greatest attacks against family, Faith, economics, education, and government since the Great Depression.  Urban America was told to trade its economic independence for federal security.  Obama Care failed.  Obamanomics failed.  We promised things would be different under Trump.  He can not do it for us and he can not do it without us.  In order for all of this to work, we must lay down our bondage to "personality politics".  We must lay down our burdens, our prejudices, our fears, and join forces.  We must no longer be distant lovers.  Urban America is depending on our network success.
